Thank you so much. Was searching and searching...I was able to find elsewhere to delete the printing in device manager but then you said to click on "Scan for Hardware Changes" at 5min 25 seconds....and THAT fixed it!

I saw that my canon 6030b is displayed in the Control Panel under Devices and Printers as 6020. Then I decided, why not put the drivers on 6020? And it worked! Despite the fact that the printer itself says that it is 6030b, it now works as a 6020 and I don't see any difference.
Excuse my language, I am Russian and I am using a translator to write this.
If anyone has any questions, I can try to help :)

Idk if you fixed this in the past year, but what i did was shut down my pc, plug in the printer and turn pc back on. This installed the usb printer support. Then i told windows to update driver under device manager instead of doing it from installer from canon. Worked like a charm. I never did get that installer to work. But my lbp6030w is working with win10 now.
