Shoulder joints are backwards on yours. This has been a thing since the 075 more metallic reissue version. Its happening cause its a new mold and they accidentally molded the shoulders on the wrong side. You’ll find that the right shoulder that is supposed to be on left still says “R” in it.
@@sammarchetti9143 yes cause it was a mess up on the mold they never fixed. Anatomy wise its incorrect and design wise its incorrect. You’ll find on the og it has the same slanted design on the back of the shoulders like this one has on the front.
@@Archer_Rico It’s incredibly easy, just necessitates some heat to pop apart the arms from the torso- then pop apart the biceps from the shoulders and switch everything to be correct.
Just keep in mind that the biceps are deceptively tough to get back on the shoulders, you need to put a surprisingly amount of pressure to make sure they stay on.

I got both versions of the comic book spidey (not the comic painted one) and this one is definitely my favorite. The plastic quality is just so much better on this one (I actually broke one of the wrist joints on the 075 one) and I personally just like the new color scheme more, though I realize the plastic quality and paint may differ from figure to figure. It’s also admittedly disappointing that this one didn’t come with a Peter Parker head, but I typically don’t use those types of unmasked heads all that much, so it’s not an issue for me.
Hello friend, I am considering buying one of the two figures and I would like you to answer 2 questions. The first is if Peter's head from 075 fits well with the 185, that is, if the colors fit well and the second is if his joints they are strong I mean if when you start to pose it you don't feel that it is going to break at any moment ok that's all I hope you answer me I would really appreciate it
@@SCV-dq9ui The Peter Parker head should fit well enough onto the 185 version, you just won’t be able to use the uncovered alternate neck if you only have the 185 version and the 75 head. If you do have the 75 alternate neck, it might look a little weird on the 185 body, but you could also just use the head on the normal 185 covered neck. As for the 185 figure breaking, I don’t think it will break anytime soon. I’m also careful with it, but when I’m posing it, the joints feel very smooth.

I recently just got the last Hasbro Marvel Legends Renew Your Vows Spider-Man 2 pack at my local Gamestop and I gotta say that Spidey does look awesome in his poses as he should be and even though I don't even collect Marvel MAFEX action figures, I will admit that he does look cool while the others don't look that bad.
For me, the brighter blue is for classic Spider-Man and doesn't match with the more modern bigger eyes. They should include a classic John Romita Sr head for a classic style.
The paint apps on a $100.00 figure should be flawless. The quality control dept. shouldn't miss glaring mistakes like this. I feel like that issue is worth a return/exchange, if I personally purchased one that looked that bad. On a Marvel Legends or any other action figure line under $50.00 can have these paint flaws all day. But when someone spends $100.00 it better be clean, not perfect, but clean. That said I've never owned a MAFEX figure and this Spidey is awesome! I hope the one I get has a better paint app. Love your reviews.

Eh, I think the heads should have been Kirby, Ditko or Romita-style to match the classic colors. I have my cell shaded one that everyone hates but fortunately I never broke mine.

Ok, the only reason why the big-time Spiderman has a lot of green on him is because usually that suit can glow a little, and they were probably trying to give him that look that he's glowing
Just got mine. I had the same feeling of slight disappointment when I opened him because I have the original release, but I'm happy to have this new one because my 075's wrist pegs disintegrated. Also he's about $75 imported with DHL shipping included.
So excited to get this one, I paid around 63 dlls import shipping included for him, never got the 75. The Walmart exclusive is cool but the head is hoooorrible I'm displaying mine with Pizza Spidey's head fits much better. RYV and Amazing Fantasy are far better.
This newest redo is by far the Best suit! It's classic, it's bright and vibrant, it's a comic book character, it's the Amazing Spider-Man! The Next best line is the Black suit!
I like the headsculpt, sculpted web lines, accesories, and its articulation. I would prefer the blue to be a bit darker. But the fact that many are coming out with reversed shoulders bothers me. For the price point, those mistakes should not happen. You can't have the figures calf to be of a different blue either. Not a fan of some of the gaps I see in certain poses. And it doesn't include a Peter Parker head. Currently this Spiderman sits in my pile of loot at BBTS. But I'm leaning towards canceling it. I'm pretty happy with my amazing Fantasy spidey and RYV Spidey.
I would say that the head u say is mcfarlane seems to emulate Art Adams, Buscema and JRjr and the one you call Bagley has elements of Larsen and Bagley combined Overall Mafex really made a mash up of artist styles for the heads...but Id say they need new ones

Pies are feet, but patas are usually used to call animal and furniture legs. Such as la pata de el perro or la pata de la Mesa. Pierna is usually used for human leg.
I cannot decide it I should pull the trigger on this MAFEX Spider-man. I’ve never owned a MAFEX figure before and I am tempted by this one. Currently my favorite Spider-man is Hasbro’s Renew your vows Spidey with a swapped out head with the Ben Riley Spider-man, I prefer a Spidey with smaller eyes as opposed to the big-eyes version. So there is the “eye thing”. I also wonder if the blue here isn’t a little too light and bright colored, and I’m put-off by the big gaps where the legs meet the shorts. But, I keep hearing about the articulation can’t be beat on the MAFEX - and with a Spider-man figure that’s huge!
Month later idk if you picked him up but if you still haven’t I highly recommend him he’s a good figure he goes good with the ML spidey villains for posing and pictures and also the symbiote counter part is amazing I definitely won’t be buying anymore spideys from hasbro I am satisfied with what mafex has done

I got mine today too and noticed that the shoulders on mine were backwards luckily its an easy fix since mafex comes apart easily but i thought it was just mine and now watching your video yours has backwards shoulders too so does everyone seem to have the problem? weird enough is that the promo pics even show it have backwards shoulders so im guessing so

I don't understand why the black costume and scarlet spidey figures got McFarlane headsculpts but they refuse to give us one for this Spidey and all it's recolors
There is no definitive Spider-man to me. Too many bodies. Mafex has got a really good one. Hasbro has made two solid bodies. With the way Hasbro has been pricing things. Some of these figures while expensive start falling into "I may as well spend the extra 20 bucks" give the quality and accessories. That said Mafex needs to just include unmasked heads for all these characters. Spider-man, Batman, Cyclops.......whoever. For the price, they should have one unmasked headsculpt. Doesn't even have to be a brand new sculpt. If Mafex ever got a nice presence in the US so people don't have to pay those import fees...........oh boy.
Valaverse and Marvel Legends average 6.25 inches and as a collector since 1972 who started out with 8 inch Megos and 12 inch GI Joes, I like 6.25 the best. It feels right in hand, looks great on the shelf and doesn't present space issues the way 12 inch figures do.
I missed out on all the comic MAFEX Spidey's so this figure is like a miracle for me. Best early Christmas present ever.

Great first mafex. The Peter Parker head wasn’t the best anyway.
$80.60 shipping included. came out 2 weeks too late otherwise shipping would've been combined with Rengoku and SHF Black Sun that I got.
