I LOVE this video. I just did a vlog from when I was in Palm Springs! My favorite place is The Melwyns for cocktails and the old hollywood vibe that they have there! Have a good day

Hi! I'm a filmmaker from Palm Springs making a music video. Some of the footage from this video would be perfect for the video. Please let me know if I can get your permission/license the footage to use in the music video.
I lovecthe nostalgic style of these promotional films. GreaterPalm Springs is a wonderful location for the cooler months. It has a relaxed feeling yet has so many activities and night life opportunities. . It's showbiz heritage has attracted many people to call it home. It has the highest gay population per capita than any other place in America and has enriched the style of the region. The wealthy and not so wealthy coexist in harmony and respect. I love it 😀
If you lived here you would see it’s an issue. Palm Springs has lost its luster due to the drug and crime elements. All over the downtown area unfortunately and I have a hard time blaming the homeless. Cost of living in Ca is outrageous
Its so strange to see these residential areas with these strange house styles and pools when you only know them from the vintage artworks. Feels kinda surreal - like a futuristic place that doesnt exist.
I started coming down from Canada to hang out with my friend's old parents when I was in my 30's. I fell in love with the weather, the high-walled gated crime-free neighborhoods, the middle class feel and the insanity made me buy a place in my 40's there to SPREAD THE MADNESS to all my friends who crave easy living. Then one day I woke up in Palm Desert and realized it was only white people who live here...
so schön wie die landschaft auch sein mag in dem video gibt es keine menschen mit dunkler hautfarbe, das ist die typische rassentrennung der 50iger in den USA.
We drove around all night looking for something to do sitting next to a pool that's ninety degree water temp gets old I guess you go there to get drunk in the summer
Maybe best to stay away in the summer. I remember convincing the wonderful woman who became my, now deceased, first wife to go hang out with me there in August of 2006. Probably not one of the smarter decisions I've ever made. ;)
But where was Desi Arnaz? He built the resort at Indian Wells which featured some of the first serious nightclub environment with live serious entertainment. He also was a major promoter of golf and tennis facilities and, later, high order tournaments or golf opens which attracted the best players and thousands of tourists/fans. Yet, Arnaz gets practically zero credit for what he did. He's even had many of his contributions to the area assigned to or claimed by other people.
Palm springs is shit now. I lived here since the early 80s and i remember how fun it was. During spring break they would close the enitre downtown area off and people woukd be crusing and drinking having a fun time. They took that away after 2000. But some how, huge gay parties are allowed all weekned long. Wonder why that is....
