      I really enjoy that they shit on both sides. I myself lean conservative for the most part. I am definitely pro small business and opening up the economy. We just need masks and common sense. They treat us like the entire population is stupid. I appreciate the way the hill report on both sides even though I get a vibe they are more left leaning on issues, which is fine. Redpilled at a very young age, used to be a super left leaning Portlandian kid. So, I am not too unfamiliar or intolerant to different oppinions like most people.

    The Art of Being Rich: slowly transfer the nation's tax bill away from the wealthy onto middle, working, & poor people.
    On Google you can find graphs since the 1980s of One-Percenters alleviating themselves of federal, state, & local taxes.
    These schemes go by many different names: tax deduction, tax cut, write-off, get-govt-off-my-back, tax break etc...
    These schemes are championed by Republicans with covert Democratic support. e.g. Obama extended the Bush tax cuts

    • @Notecrusher
      @Notecrusher 4 роки тому +3

      The president does not have the power to pass legislation into law. GW Bush did not give tax cuts to the rich, Obama did not extend them, and Trump did not cut them further. All of that legislation was passed by our elected representatives in Congress. We will never have change until we vote for representatives that actually represent us and not the wealthy and powerful.

      Poor people pay taxes? That's a joke. In my years with the IRS has have seen so much money go out, people making more in refund than they make working. And they're getting housing assistance and food stamps, on top of this. If you're too stupid to get a good job, you have no business passing your genes on to make even stupider kids who will also take out of the kitty.

      I grew up quite poor. Went hungry on a regular basis. I mean couldn’t even afford ramen every day. And both my parents worked...but made nothing after bills etc and as one of their 5 kids, I went without (clothes, food, etc) right along with them. Granted, they probably should t have had five kids they couldn’t afford but it was what it was. Just glad it’s over now. But there are kids right now going through what I went through and it ain’t pretty.

      @@TheHanshotfirst Government money is our money. Are you fake? government resources are owned by the capitalists not OURS. Money printing has not increased inflation yet. All printed money is hoarded. But if the US economy is collapsing and money printing continues, the dollar will not be a world reserve currency. But those politicians know that the debt now will be covered mostly by cutting social programs and higher taxes on the people with the exception of the capitalists. Venezuela is not the USA because its currency is not world reserve currency. In addition dollar is backup now by oil transactions. This why Trump was fool when he told Bin Salman to increase oil production. More oil and lower prices will weaken the dollar as reserve currency. Currently, several countries are not using the dollars in their transactions and some have already dumped the dollars for gold. If you are old I am sure when the dollar was destroyed in the 1970 before Nixon declared no gold for dollar. Many countries had no dollar when Nixon destroyed Briton Woods. Yes, national debt will be paid by the Americans whether in higher or cutting social programs or both. Government may loot our property as well. Capitalists will pay nothing.

    Now, anytime the 99% are struggling we hear “there’s no money for that” but in 08 as millions were foreclosed on the banks got a bailout. The automakers got a bailout . Now it’s companies and Wall Street again that they find trillions in bailouts for while giving people $1200 that doesn’t even cover rent. Now they wanna rush to start the economy back up but people would still have two-three months of bills and these jobs they could barely afford one month on that before all this.
    Why is it that Wall Street is bailed out right away but everyone else is chastised and told they should have savings to rely on and the government shouldn’t “reward “ bad behavior.

I genuinely wonder about the people that are struggling right now, because if you go unemployment in California you can make over $4k a month which isn’t too bad.. unless you didn’t have a job before the virus then you’d get nothing. The people I see suffering the most are the salespeople who make $5-10k a month and now making way less on unemployment or making less at work because of lack of sales.
