The City just required me to have it replaced to modern piping. So for the past 9 years, Me, my daughter and Pets have been drinking and showering in water with lead in it. And I’ve noticed that me and my daughter haven’t felt good sometimes. Headache’s, Brain Fog, Fatigue or tired, anxiety or hypertension, etc. I should go to my doctor, because I heard that they can test you to see if you have lead in your system.
Yes, the well water folks come out a little ahead on this one but you still need to be concerned about any lead plumbing, solder or fixtures in your home.

It's more about the amount of the contaminent, than which ones. The obvious ones are sodium, lead, pesticides, herbicides, choliform & ecoli bacteria but higher amounts of iron, manganese, fluoride and chlorine can also become a concern.
I had my tap water tested and the lead level was 0.05mg/liter and the allowed level per WHO is 0.01mg/liter. Could you please tell me whether it's safe to consume....

Glad to hear! You may also consider Reverse Osmosis water as an alternative to distilled.

Is it possible that racism and classism has as an unintended basis, copper pipes in wealthy homes and lead pipes in poor neighborhoods ?
I really don't think so. I hope that lead pipes are pretty mucvh a thing of the past.
