You guys killed it!! My husband has a special way of eating the choco corn puffs ... crunch crunch crunch as fast as you can till it's all gone and it feels like you're eating air. 😉
FWIW you did pretty well. The difficulty at that place varies a lot depending on when you go. For example, most of the time (esp. during weekends), the arms on the umaibou and caplico machines are so weak that even with that exact same positioning they will not move towards the opening . The other arm is stronger and pushes the box on top of the platform so that the corner is surrounded by the D shaped rings. Good luck if that happens! If you go during weird times when they're practically empty, you can do quite well. Also, they'd have given you the caplico box after the 1st attempt had you asked :)

I died when the chocolate was so stubborn
I won my very first UFO catcher prize at that Round1 in Odaiba in early March, it was a giant squishy hamster! I was surprised at how happy it made me lol I can see why you guys are addicted. Unfortunately we don't have Japanese prizes in arcades in the UK :'(

Collon are great - see if you can ever get the green tea flavour (delicious and just slightly sweet). The chocolate roll 'wafers' you had are a firm favourite in many flavours...some are egg cookies, others are just chocolate-filled rather than coated. You can usually buy them in grocery stores in bags of 20. I can't think of a really 'chocolate' taste from any of the sweets I've tasted, but that's no huge loss. Try a british 'Yorkie Bar' instead!

it is in diver city mall, it has gundam front tokyo there too (basically gundam shop and museum) and 1:1 gundam, but too bad they took down the gundam earlier this month (for new one coming on september) and the gundam front tokyo closed for renovation

in japan... even if it didnt fall down the shoot as long as its not on the ramp or the one where they put on the item its considered a GET.... just ask the staff to get it for you and they will gladly assist you.... i always seen those kind of intances like what you have experienced on the BIG CAPLICO....
