    What never fails to amaze me is the comments on these videos saying "not enough action" or "this vid is so boring" as if these conflicts are here for your entertainment. These videos show the reality of what modern warfare is like and I'm sure any real combat veteran would agree. These videos are full of high tension moments, but I guess that doesn't translate as "entertaining" to people watching from home while on the toilet.

      Thing is that these videos are full of action.
      There could be an enemy around every corner, a Russian in every window. Watching how these soldiers navigate their environment, communicate and the various tactics they use to reduce possible casualties. Even the little stuff like how the cameraman is constantly aware of where his rifle is pointing, where his buddies are, what ammo he has, his current location, objective, how he keeps his rifle at low ready, how he checks every corner and window, how he keeps spacial awareness and ensures that he's always near cover or has an escape route. Even how they manipulate the environment by moving trash, cutting wires, destroying locks, checking for traps, knocking down doors, peeling off fences and so on just to get an advantage if shit hits the fan.
      All of that is pretty damn intense, that's more than most action movies get us. Action movies are just "There's the enemy, now he's a dead enemy", they never really tackle the complexity that we're seeing in this footage.

    I really like this guys alertness and focus, his weapons always at worst low ready but he points it at every window he passes which he should but I’m noticing several of the other guys don’t seem to be taking the threat too seriously , weapon rarely raised just walking past openings , complacency kills. Also when preparing to enter a door that’s closed I’m surprised that they are standing sometimes 3 deep directly in front of the door. If someone’s on the other side and empties a magazine into the door they’re all casualties , CQB room clearing stand to the side of the door and one angled steps back thst will have a clear shot inside an opening door. Man the hair stands up on my neck seeing them stand in front of the door several deep. If anyone did that , our Sgt would grab his sling and yank the living piss out of ya pulling ya out of the way, often times throwing the dude on the ground to get the point accross, none of us stood in front of the door after a few patrols. Be careful boys but again loving this dudes CONSTANT readiness, he’s switched on the entire time. Watching Green Berets CQB was humbling, EVERY damn house they are 110% , textbook CQB, NEVER getting complacent, every door you’d think there were confirmed Tali inside. Showed the young guys ; hey if these 10 year Green Berets are this alert and switched on , not a better example to get the boys realizing they operate that way because they’ve seen a ton of shit and lost brothers. I hope your readiness and posture rubs off on your boys a bit more. Could be the difference between the point taking a ready shot or complacent loosing several bros that aren’t switched on. Can just see a hiding combatant in a window seeing 3 or 4 walk by muzzles pointed straight down , head not on a swivel , be an easy defenseless ambush NOONE would make it out of. I understand it’s a different war, these urban areas have nothing but window openings 10 stories tall and every door blown open , hard to check everything but if your entire squad is trying to check everything , you’re gonna catch movement easier.
    My heart started racing when these guys were walking on the sidewalk , several story buildings each side and the 3 guys in front weapons down , only saw maybe 2 or 3 head turns . They’re clearing these places like someone’s in there so surely should be really switched on when walking through a killzone like that.
    Just don’t want to see you guys get hurt or worse , taken as a POW to a Russian torture prison. Especially the Americans, Russians would have a hell of time with American volunteers. Stay vigilant , stay safe, return home.

    This is depressing. The homes of people who just want peace absolutely destroyed. People who had families and friends all displaced with nothing to come back to. Their whole lives they worked for, gone. This is the world we live in. And it doesn’t help my mental instability. How can a species treat eachother with such animosity. We need love in this world. This has to stop. This makes me wanna go down to the rope store then walk over to the rickety stool store and pick up a couple things.

    I would be terrified of driving a captured BMP : the risk of friendly fire (being fired upon) without widespread radio communications is so crazy high. I see the white writing on it, but that is not visible from an AT hiding and seeing you from afar (esp. not from front/rear).

      @sam8404 Рік тому +4

      From what I've read Ukraine has been pretty good about not firing without positive identification to avoid friendly fire or civilian casualties. They often use drones to examine targets before firing, many drone units work hand in hand with artillery units for this reason.
      Edit: I completely understand the fear though, I'm 100% on your side there.

    When using the grinder you should cut the eye bolt, it will be faster. It's mounted solid to something so you can put more force on it without it wanting to wiggle away. Usually hardware like that is made with a cheaper steel too so it will cut faster. Also I'd 550 cord the wrench to a Molle strap, then trim the wrench down so it slides into a couple molle strips. Same with a paint can opening tool, those are mega awesome for ripping out a stuck case on an m4.

A far worse hell is living in the other 80% of Ukraine where civilians are being subjected to bombing, missile strikes & attack drones, and where they know that if Russia wins the war, the same things will happen to them as are happening in the occupied areas. War is disgusting & leaves physical & psychological scars for many generations, but for Ukrainians, is it preferable to becoming part of a totalitarian state like Russia. So, what Ukrainians need & want most of all is 100% of their rightful lands liberated & the Russians to never attack them again. That is going to require a heck of a lot of fighting & terrible sacrifice to accomplish, before there can be a lasting peace in Ukraine.

    you need a shotgun up and running in this squad, have him take point. Theres reasons they were so effective leading Marine patrols in tight areas. Hell even the British were begging to get some of ours. You don't have to be super precise with them to have them still fill a very effective role. This is shit we've known for a hundred years, almost forgot but had to reteach the world how effective they can be. You know all this, make it happen!

Theres many lethal loads that will spank your ass right on down at 150yards and by the time one of your shells is shot? Everyone else's rifles are opening up. This isn't old news either.
