New Zealand trip| Visiting family and friends: Introduction
Another epic stay in New Zealand for me. Last trip was between 1st September and 1st December 2022. I was presented with a new grandson whom I now hope to meet again and get properly acquainted with. What fun we had.

OMA Anita you have a beautiful family and you have made fabulous memories on your trip down under to both New Zealand and Australia with both Friends and Family! That was such sad news your beautiful grand baby fell poorly while you were returning home. Even though he’s not quite out of the woods, going a night not needing oxygen is positive progress! Your video of you telling us of real life was so sincere and genuine brought a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye as we know how upset and frustrated you have been! The worry and jet lag has made you a little run down and returning from warmer climates to cold and damp has given you a nasty cold! Be sure to look after yourself! You got lots of great footage and shots and we look forward to seeing lots more from your incredible trip! Stay awesome lovely lady and look after yourself! Sending you much GenX love and hugs! Jx ❤️
How could I not be proud to read this and know the UA-cam family are behind me and feel the love. Thank you. It was a relief to hear Ocean went home as that was a great improvement in his health situation. That helped me relax too for sure. Silly cold really has a grip but I’ve told it to ‘leave the building’ as I “have things to do and people to see”. Think it’s working 😂. Yes when editing that homecoming ( without the cold) and realised it wasn’t how things were, I felt I had to bring that message. So, now the fog is lifting and the sun is trying to break through- onward and upward to summery days and a healthy future for all. Thanks you 🙏for your beautiful message and support. 💖👌 🇳🇱🙋♀️🥝

😢sending healing light Anita...I do hope he's fully recuperated very soon...🙏 good news is he's out of the hospital and on the road to recovery...you take care of yourself I understand how you must feel, when they hurt so do we...such a handsome little boy he is..speedy recovery...you certainly had a most amazing trip Anita...keep those memories close and just know your UA-cam family is here for you...30 hours to get home is grueling...and it will be weeks before you're back in your space 💗 thank you for the beautiful sharing here can't wait to see more! 💞
Donna dear, thank you so much. Yes it was quite stressful. Had he gone in to hospital a few days earlier I would have delayed my departure. Such a shock. Happily he is home which means the doctors think he is on the mend. Still a bit nervous though. He is a strong wee fellow. The trip was fabulous and the memories worth gold. Hello Anita, I can understand the stress. I used to manage contracts and now my biggest challenge is managing stress. Things are looking better after the downpour. I would love to see steamboats again. I lived by a river many moons ago and they would pass on occasion. There was a museum close we visited. The photo tour and clips are great! Hi Anita, very sorry to hear about your grandson but I am glad he is doing better. RSV is definitely not to be taken lightly for the very young or older people or weakened immune systems. Loved seeing the views of New Zealand, especially those surfers making their way out along the rocks. Much braver than I would be! Have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing more.
Thank you Donna, not 5 minutes ago I received a really positive reply from my daughter in law that Ocean is doing a lot better and is almost his old self again. I too am on the improve. Actually had a full night's sleep which helps regain my energy. Never had such hassles before. I hope to make a few videos showing off some of New Zealand's green beauty. Shame the steam festival was mostly rained out, Anita. We're so sorry to hear about your grandson. Must have been incredibly hard to hear about it as you were heading back to Europe. Gladly the weekend wasn't all wet- just the ending. It's a great event held every 2 years. Thank you for your kind words and prayers. We sure could use more support during this worrying time. So pleased he is off the oxygen and making a recovery, poor little fella. You sound poorly yourself Anita and worrying about your grandson must be heart breaking for you. While we were landing I saw the rain..then once landed we had a nice drive back home. I sat on the balcony for about 15 minutes and that was that. Haven't seen the sun much since. My grandson is improving daily I am happy to report. So am I 🤣! Still not quite shaken the cold but that won't take long now. Happy birthday to Tony 🎶🎂🍾🥂 by the way. I so enjoy my time with the family - always so much happening with 4 our of 5 paying soccer and other sports. Busy household. Thanks for watching and your caring message. August, I traveled a round trip. From Amsterdam to Melbourne then on to Auckland New Zealand. Crossing the ditch as it is ‘locally’ known isn’t a long flight indeed. The Australian trip is 4h30m. Thank you for the well- and birthday wishes. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀️🥝
