@@TracieLin yes it does we are all very proud of the work my great uncle has done here in our small State Louisiana. He loved New Orleans so we keep is Legacy going here and all through Louisiana. I am very grateful to have his blood in me. Thank you.
Jessie Liu Thank you so much Jessie 🥰! Yes Ena makes everything sound good with her beautiful tone. And surprisingly I don’t find the smaller string spacing or higher tension a problem. You get used to it after a while. Now I feel Brea is too spaced out LOL 😂.
@@JessieLiuHarp I am pretty sure that is what's going to happen. Eve has asked me to try the same stringing of Ena on the Brea so I did, and now Brea sounds pretty nice too. IMO, it sounds better than the original stringing. But ultimately, I'll choose one to keep and let go of the other as I don't need 2 similar harps of the same size.
Beatiful and sweet. Thanks for arranging this. I just purchased sheet music-studying your video following the sheet music. I dont see in the video where you made the right hand F changes. (Trying to see how to handle a right hand lever change)Thanks
Thank you so much! It turns out that I unintentionally left out measures 33 to 36, and went straight from 32 to 37 in the video. I actually didn't realize that until after I uploaded the video. But doing lever change in RH is doable with practice and I have done it before. Please check out my "Over the Rainbow" video where I did it around 2:44 and 2:57 mark. You can follow the string up to feel where the lever is and get used to its position. The more you practice, the more precise your reach will be until it becomes fairly familiar. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much 🥰! I have the link in the description for the double strung sheet music. To play on the single, it would have to be rearranged and I have not had a chance to try it yet.
I have always been impressed with the tone on this little harp! How does the string tension differ from the Brea? It is a beautiful rendition of this song by the way. As always, you produce such beautiful music!
Mark Foster I really appreciate your comment, Mark! The tension is definitely higher than the Brea, thus producing a rounder and warmer tone. They would call Ena’s tension medium high for a lever harp. I like it because there’s less chance of buzzing and overplaying the strings. Yet the tone sounds exquisite.
Sweet sweet sweet sound and gorgeous playing and arrangement! Love the new Ena.
Thank you Carolyn! I do love my Ena too 😍.
Thank you very beautiful He was my great uncle. Well done.
Wow, what an honor to get affirmation from you 😭. He was a great musician and I'm sure the legacy lives on in the family.

@@TracieLin that's interesting! I guess this means you'll be letting go of your brea then? 🤭
