The absence of stone roads looks weird. Especially considering that's what carriages rely on to travel between towns to prevent getting stuck in the mud..
Ey thanks for the review 😊. NGVO doesn't have grass lods so turning down grass fade would remove almost all grass.

@@mastercheesey Sounds good! Keep in mind this list was just made to be easy to add stuff onto so all the tools like xedit, creation kit, bodyslide, zmerge, etc are there for people. Anything that required editing tons of vanilla records like replacing guard armors or NPC appearance wasn't included for that reason. The upside is anybody could easily toss in Modpocalypse or Guard Armor Replacer or whatever they want and have little to no conflicts :) - Instead I edited vanilla textures and meshes to look as nice as possible.
I’ve been playing the list for about a week. I’ve got great things to say and things that aren’t. The biggest for me is why is it called next generation visual overhaul but use tree mods that are nearly 10 years old and grass that’s non existent and what is around looks like a chemo patient and the flora looks like it’s made on MS paint. Takes the next generation right out of it and drops me back 13 years. And personally been struggling with body slide as well and severely limits character creation to yet again an older generation body style character creation which is kind of key to role play. End on a high note and the list has lots to praise with next gen looking parallax and great attention to details. I recognize and praise the effort and hard work put into making the list. Overall a fantastic base to expand upon if made a little more user friendly and would suggest just leaving the whole npc and character creation up to those who download it.
@@AzViking69 list has been made like base for you to add your own stuff ... It's called NGVO cause it focus only on visuals, nothing more. Considering grass mods, please feel free to recommend some cause I also use old ones simply causes nothing better than folkvangr/origins of the forest or Vinland grass patch actually came out...same thing for Ulvenwald
@@MarkoMarkovina yeah but personally trees, flora and grasses are the biggest part of visuals since you’ll see them the most throughout your game play. It’s everywhere you look. For my list I use nature of forest, uvenwald and a patch that combines them that’s found on nexus. I apologize to the mod author for not remembering the name off the top of my head. As far as grasses I use cathedral 3D pine grass full coverage, orgins of forest and folkvagnr with qw’s patch and along with the enb complex grass for each one including qw’s and I also use the either the yellow brown ferns or or the red and pink ferns. It’s exactly what a modern next gen would look like.

That's the exact list I also stole many mods from I didn't previously know. Wouldn't use it completely though, because i dislike the occasional stutter when changing cells and all those 4k textures load in.
NGVO doesn't use almost any 4k textures. It's almost all 1-2k.
@@biggie_boss Ok that's interesting. I still got some light stutters in exterior whenever terrain was loading, which is an indication that the VRAM isn't holding up. (Maybe mine is just too slow, but I have a 3070 which should be enough). And I see the same in all videos of the modlist I've seen so far. It's a shame because it really looks beatiful, but i can't stand those stutters.
@@agnosticpanda6655your CPU is most likely a problem here... Moded Skyrim extremely CPU heavy. NGVO is really optimized, great list. It runs grat on my rig .. I have 13700 kg and 4070ti tho

There's a few graphics that look OK... looking forward to you showing what mods you take and add to your own. I have 1950 mods atm and mine looks pretty damn good at 4k 55+ fps... but i Did like the Nordic inscriptions in the dungeons.

Nature of the wildlands kills my pc too, it also had floating tree so I just got rid of it all together
i was mistaken the trees were actually traverse the ulvenwald this gameplay was just me testing the list out, there will be a more in depth later on
