I found out Lidl here in the states sales pasteis de nata and every week I buy some, not the same as the ones in Portugal but close enough and they are delicious.
Great job! I love the combinations you mix in your video. A little bit of something for everyone: nature (sunrise view in the mountains), maps, tourist info, history, economic changes/development, comparative house prices, etc. All with awesome background music! Cheers Comment about addiction to coffee was hilarious. There are worse addictions, lol. Maybe do one video about Algarve Coffee Addicts, lol, and highlight great coffee shops with the locals. Do you bring your own Ouma Biskuit for breakfast when you are on the road touring?
There are a number of Portuguese visas which are obviously each quite different and unique - maybe worth making a film about ? Good Morning Portugal have covered visas in detail in the past.

Hi, Nick. We had a question on our channel about renting long term in the Algarve. Being that you are the Algarve expert, we directed the viewer to you, so maybe you can help when he reaches out. Hopefully you don't mind. Cheers!!
Hey guys, thanks so much. Unfortunately there's not much I can do, it's a really tough thing to find. I've made a video about it though www.algarveaddicts.com/rentals
Very much enjoyed seeing these places. Where might I find that blue short-sleeved shirt you're wearing? Brand name or website? Looks perfect for warm weather. Thanks!
Cheers Brian. Wow, I don't really pay attention when shopping, sorry. I've had it for years. Probably Zara or C and A when my wife drags me into the store 🤣
Hey Nick, That is another wonderful video. BTW, can you guess whom my brother and I had the pleasure of meeting in San Francisco and learning about “Living in Portugal”? Of course you can! It was delightfully inspiring. Doug J.
@@AlgarveAddicts Bingo! You won, but everyone who subscribes to your terrific UA-cam channel already knows that you are already a winner! Talking with her and her team was the highlight of the event. I’m sure our conversation will continue after my brother and I take our Portugal exploratory trip this spring.
I live here and I would be extremely surprised to find a house for that price. A ruin maybe - even T1 apartments are around €100k - liveable houses €175k? The market is hot here - limited supply of good places to buy. Rentals are difficult to find too. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding - are these prices for the Setubal Peninsular as a whole, as the prices I see for the city are much higher than those shown. Also, I know it was an extremely quick visit but the video missed probably 95% of what the city and surrounds has to offer. Numerous beaches as well as Troia, the nature park, the fort, the wetlands, picturesque historical centre, lovely town parks, vineyards, fishing harbour, restaurants, cafes, easy journey into Lisbon and the airport, very walkable, good health infrastructure, some tourism but not over-run, a thriving art scene - so many good things here. I didn’t mention the dolphins - a community of 30, all extremely well researched, protected and managed.
@@AlgarveAddicts it must be historic data - just a small flick through Idealista or other sites - plus speaking to real estate agents, we’ve been here around a year and have a good handle on prices in the city. This is the first place I’ve been too where real estate agents are saying to clients that the market is greatly overpriced and newly arrived people from outside Portugal or Lisbon are having a major effect on the local market both rental and ownership.
Great video! As any other typical Portuguese, you can't do without your morning coffee! LOL I don't mean to be rude, but your daughter is so much prettier than you!

Love your videos! Heading to Portugal next weekend for a week!

The brief overviews of each city are so helpful to understand the area a bit more. Your trip was lovely. What site do you use to find lodging?
Hi Carmin, generally I use www.booking.com It's really easy to use.

So is the Golden Visa program essentially null and void in the Algarvé now? Or is the buy a $500,000 property the only null aspect?
Hi Ronny, it's still going and there are many options. I can talk you through it if you like. Get in touch through www.algarveaddicts.com/contact
you can't find that in the states,
Thanks for another interesting video. Once I get thru all your email tips, I will be reaching out for a consult.
You're welcome Larry👍🏼

It is, as an average!

It was an average provided by Pordata.

It's from a site called Pordata, which draws its info from the INE (the Portuguese institute of statistics).
