To be fair, those events has been covered so much that it may be why this video goes more into methodology rather than just regurgitating well known information
The Entebbe Operation (Operation Yonatan) afaik was not carried out by the Mossad but rather by various IDF units like the Shayetet13, paratroopers, Golani, 8200 intelligence unit and others. Raid has a negative connotation, as if the IDF assaulted them. In reality it was a brave, out worldish, james bond like rescue operation.
Please do more of this series. Besides obvious suggestions like the navy SEALs the Polish GROM, Canadian JTF2 and Danish Jaeger Corps/Huntsmen Corps would be cool.
German KSK and GSG9 (technically police but still interesting), the dutch commandos (not even attempting that one, i don't wanna insult our orange neighbors - this isn't football after all😂) would also be nice
Also on the jaeger corps theres a book by a former operator from that unit that you might find interesting. His name is thomas rathsack, the book's title is jaeger. But I'm not sure if it's available in english or not, i have it in german.
Definitely keep this coming. As an American, I'm always curious to learn about the operators from other countries and hear some of the shenanigans they've pulled off.
Check out some of the brave battles the IDF have fought against evil Palestinian children throwing rocks. Then check out how when they actually went up against a real army in Lebanon Hezbollah sent them packing with their tails tucked between their legs in short order.
The GSG9 is not an intelligence agency in germany. Only BfV (Federal Office for Protection of the Constitution), BND (Foreign Intelligence Service of Germany) and BAMAD (Military Counterintelligence Service - counterpart to the BfV to observe military personnel).
Absolutely amazing episode! There’s such a plethora of Special Operations elements across the world, from the widely known US Delta Ninjas & ISA and the British SAS / SBS regiments to the lesser known South African Recee’s, Polish GROM, etc. The operational history of any one of these groups is fascinating. Post World War II the Mossad conducted various brilliant hits on Nazi war criminals who had escaped to South America as well as those who had been recruited by the Egyptians to advance their nuclear weapons program and ICMB development. You have to figure for every one operation that is publicly known, there’s a minimum of a dozen that will never be.
I highly recommend the movie Munich 2005. I am surprised you did not mention this in your video about the Mossad.Thank you for uploading. Have a nice day!
A great idea for a long running series. How about a look at the WW2 British Military Intelligence units M.I. 1 to M.I. 19 or the Double Cross Committee?
This will be a good series especially if he will do videos on other spec ops units that are not as well know like south America spec ops or some European
Brief correction; Proverbs is actually not part of the Torah, which is only the first 5 books of the Bible, I.e. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. The rest of, or really the whole of, the Christian Old Testament/Jewish Bible is known in Hebrew as the Tanakh.
Please do make this a series. Making sure to cover groups from all walks of life, geopolitical locations, and covering overt and covert activities would be nice. You could even discuss known hotspots of activities, Vienna for example.
Seals and SAS have been done to often I’d rather see one on SBS over SAS. It has to be the most underrated SF going, they train exactly as SAS do but also in other specialist areas that SAS don’t
Yes. Anything but the SEALS. Nothing against them but there is so much information on them already. Delta team. Night Stalkers. Green Berrets. There is one more highly secretive American team thats name escapes me but are considered the best of the best as well who are also more spy oriented and work closely with the CIA.
This is a great idea for a series! Love to see one about the SAS, British SIS, Soviet GRU, maybe? There's a lot to choose from! Keep up the good work! ^_^ Also, might want to avoid large crowds and windows for a bit. ^_~
Yeah, more of this Simon. Here’s a couple you could have your writers look into: The Dutch “AIVD” and it’s predecessors starting in 1914 or the German “GSG9” as made famous by the “Lufthansa Flight 181” incident.
I like the concept for this series. The French GIGN has a very rich history to cover, and the German GSG9’s birth is enveloped in historical reluctance while their KSK is rife with recent controversy. I think those would be interesting topics to cover.
Mossad director to junior analyst: "Simon Whistler just uploaded a UA-cam video about us, so you need to review all his content to assess his threat level." Junior analyst: "This guy has HOW MANY CHANNELS!?!?!" 🤣
I’m an NCIS fan. I learned about Mossad from watching loads of episodes from that show as a teen, and to this day, whenever I think of Mossad or Israel, I have a significant amount of admiration for their tactics and their seriousness. I know NCIS is obviously a tv show and Ziva David (the Mossad agent in the show and my favorite member of the team) is a fictional charcter, but damn did it really start up my fascination and admiration with Israel and its secret service agency
Simon, enjoy all your channels. You are 1 hard working dude! A bit disappointed that you did not talk about the Mosad's response to the killing of the Israeli athletes at the 1968 Olympics. There have been a number of books about how the Mosad tracked down the people responsible to the planning, financing and management of the assignations. Wonder if you could do a segment on that horrific episode
Amazing idea. Great episode. Mossad was a great first pick. I can't wait for you to cover the CIA. Notable mentions: Ukrainian Intelligence, ISI, and KGB.
Arabs and Muslims wouldn't have to fear Mossad if they would just leave them to peace and stop threatening them. The Jewish people have suffered for thousands of years and deserve to live in peace in their own country.
Thousands of assasinations seems overblown. Mossad focuses on high value targets. The number of operatives is small compared to other intelligence services. They are howerver extremely effective.

I am all for a Special Operators series. And don't stop the Art of War series. This channel is easily my favorite of all of yours.
this is a cool idea for a series, would love it if you guys did more from around the world
Agreed more around the world and not always those famous ones like the seals and sas
Need to see one on the SAS I think Simon could make that very fun
A nice cat . . .
I absolutely second this, hope it continues

OK. Continue this series. Please. This was incredible.
Zionism is antiAmerican as it puts Israel above and before the U.S. 👎🇮🇱👎
You guys are truly pumping these Warographics videos out! Keep it going!
Its because youtube has an army of Simon clones
Unbelievable that your writer didn't include Munich Olympics, the raid on Entebbe, or the Red Sea Diving resort as part of their operations.
To be fair, those events has been covered so much that it may be why this video goes more into methodology rather than just regurgitating well known information
