Can you tell me please how I am able to set up the .brd importer in ADS?
It asks me for extracta, although I have an installation of Allegro. I have no idea how I could set it up to work.
If you are using Allegro 17.x then you need to define a PATH variable pointing it to the installation path. Kindly refer to the ADS documentation and it outlines all the needed details. If that doesn’t help then pls contact your local Keysight tech support team for further help…👍
Learned a lot from your videos. Thank you very much. I have a question. When I use momentum simulator, I can easily visualize the current. However, when it comes to FEM simulation, I cannot see the current. Could you please help briefly comment on that?
Hi,
You can see current visualization for FEM as well. Kindly contact your local Keysight Tech Support team for help.
How to setup a port in the Via-On-Pad breakout under the BGA ?
I am not fully clear about your question here...probably it will help if you contact your local Keysight tech support team for help.
Thank you
Thank you. It is very useful!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
Could you please post video related to cutout size parameterization for the pads in ADS to ensure required impedance
look at the VIA Designer video under HSD playlist on the channel.
@@BhargavaAnuragThe video explains the antipad for vias.I need to parameterize the cutouts in the below layer under the SMD pads to reduce the impedance to ensure required impedance is met.
@@ngp1987 Kindly look at this video: ua-cam.com/video/ysaiwtnCrlE/v-deo.htmlsi=x7Q5PmKH891WbN-q
@@BhargavaAnuragthanks for the link sir.Is there a way to do parameter sweep of the cutout area instead of doing it manually.
@@ngp1987 I am not sure what do you mean by manually. When you use VIA Designer then you can parameterize Antipad dia and there is nothing manual there
Tons of Thank you
