One of the most satisfying to drive cars ive ever had. Fun, functional, efficient and Nostalgic. More fun than my 2002 GTI and 2003 GLI, better sound than my 2012 Mazda 3, and more character than all of them. I think these (especially the 6 speed) will become sought after down the road
@@awdobsession717 every jdm enthusiast car is getting higher in price unfortunately, 2022-2025 may be the last time to pick up all the 90s/00s goodies.
Best cars Honda ever made Hands Down. Practically bulletproof. Even if it’s neglected it will take a beating and still run and then some and then fall apart. I own 3 of them… 2 automatics and a manual, a 2010, 2011, 2012. Would love to get a 2020 6 speed. One day I’ll get one.
I have this 2020 red Honda Fit! It's my 2nd Honda Fit - still have a 2009 with 185,000 miles - runs totally fine! I have fit two full size recliners in the back of my 2020 Honda Fit! Love it!
Good review my man. I wad lucky to buy one just exactly like the one you have. I got it at an auction with 6k miles and for the low price of $6000.00. Today it was ready to hit the road and drove it for a 2 hour trip....I loved it. I'm keeping it for a while or maybe a keeper. Sad to hear 2020 was the last year. This car is amazing.
Very good review. It's a mini minivan. You forgot to mention the very useful magic seats feature of the back seats as well as the relax mode setting you can configure with the front seats folded back.
@@awdobsession717 That's true. The Honda Freed is the mini minivan (there's also a Toyota Sienta, not to be confused with Toyota Sienna, and other mini minivans with sliding doors). I guess minivans don't sell in North America compared to SUVs.
Switzerland here, thanks for the review, sadly only old people here drive a Jazz / Fit, I recently bought a 2018 Jazz GK 1.5 MT and I'm absolutely loving it! But this car is so beloved by young people and is oftenly modified in a lot of Asian countries.
This was my car.. same color.. ..beautiful and drove like a dream! Sport edition has the sunroof! 🙌😎 💯 Recommend. Great fuel mileage and 5 drink holders. 🤣 They mentioned that to me when I purchased it. The audio system in the sport is also an upgrade and standard transmission is stock so cost is low but totally fun! 🤗 They called me zippy.. it's quick and gets you going!
Sadly, Honda has decided to cancel the Fit in the USA due to slow sales. This means they are not bringing the new redesigned model shown in Japan to the United Statues. In the USA, small cars aren't very popular anymore.
@@awdobsession717 hahaha, sadly electric cars exist… so people will have an excuse to keep buying their unnecessarily huge, impractical crossovers this time…
The back of the back seats fold down as you showed, but the bottom of the back seats also fold up so you can roll a bike into the car upright or something.
Great video and bang on the money with your comments and observations! I have just bought a low mileage 2nd hand Honda Jazz Sport (yes it's red just like the one you reviewed) and I love this little car! It's super-light on gas, and is incredibly versatile with it's clever seats! Mine is not the 6 speed manual, but rather the "auto" (CVT gearbox) which I thought I'd hate, but it's actually very good to drive, provided you're not in a big hurry! It can drone a bit under heavy acceleration, but settles down once up to highway speeds. Round town and in traffic, it's perfect! Thanks again for your review and warm greetings from South Africa! 👍😉
I love my 2011 sport. I recently received a 2008 XLE 4cyl Accord. I enjoy the car, but driving a fit leave me feeling more in control and able to do more things. I watched this video to see if I replace one of my cars with this final year. I'll leave it up to my wife to see which she'd rather get rid of =)
I hired a Fit in Japan, same model, and I liked it more than I thought, despite it being a CVT (🤮). I wished they had manuals, but, being new to hiring cars in general, and driving in Japan, I didn't mind it as much. The one I had had radar cruise, and it was wonderful, until you hit 20km/h, whereupon it would disengage. The dash layout is clean for a city car, and that cupholder in front of the airvent thing is genius.
This is how I describe each gen Honda Fit based on how its face looks 1st gen = Baby Mouse 2nd gen = Cute teen girly mouse 3rd gen = You made the mouse angry 4th gen (Japan)= You gave the mouse LSD and its eyes are dilated
I think the CRZ was the spiritual successor to the CRX...but it had some features that reminded you of the 1st gen insight. Manual transmission, hybrid, two doors.
3rd Gen (GP5)Honda fit Hybrid has really cool looking gauge cluster... This one feels average as compared to one in Hybrid. Plus Fit hybrid is most powerful 138hp and fastest for all 3rd Gen Fit's. It also has ZF 7-speed dual clutch that shifts really quick and sharp. I absolutely love Fit hybrid... Interior quality is bit flimsy and will start rattling if driven in areas with bad roads. And the interior plastic is very prone to scratching and can break easily while removing parts.
Great with you I love the fit, however, not enough headroom in the rear. I have a 2009 Pontiac vibe GT plenty of room for people 63 to 67 their heads fit in the car. Although their knees also touch the roof lol
I have had my 2018 Fit for a while. I watched all kins of reviews for it. But I am slowly starting to regret my decision. I am so worried about the reliability. Or lack of. I was told th engine was loud. But I swear its making noises it shouldn't. It can make all the noises it wants as long as its reliable. I am trying to see if other Fits sound the way mine does but struggling to have anyone have the engine play only.
@@johnvestil3789 Maybe it's my specific car, because I still haven't been able to get consistently smooth shifts from 1st to 2nd after 3 years of driving it almost always in the city. He didn't show you the magic seat. My guess is they stopped making Fits as they are 3rd in fatalities. I bought a 2005 Prius, and the big butt was not for my lousy driving and I hated the soft metal. I then bought the 2011 Fit. Honda did what Honda does, and now the sound system is great and has much more horsepower. I am so used to it I don't have complaints, just like this guy says. One guy I met commuted and mileage got to 260,000. I would have liked to know if the commute was level, as it gets noisy at 70mpg. I bought tire insurance and so glad I did. I will travel to get a low mileage when mine gets to 260,000 or more. I am at 167,000 now. Clutch, brakes, and all the parts of the starter have been replaced, and one part of the starter is on the extended warranty. Not many small cute things and nothing small has gone wrong. The hot and cold cupholder is really cool.
What really annoys me is that there is a sedan version of the Fit called the city being manufactured and sold in Mexico with NAFTA it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to import it the United States and slot it below the Civic.
