Absolutely agree about all three! I also love to watch the other animals preparing for winter. Migrating flocks of birds, squirrels gathering acorns, spiders finding hidey places, … all remind me summer is winding down and I should also prepare for winter. It’s time to plant bulbs, prep the roses, and harvest the final herbs and seeds. 🍂🍁
