Peter, I've been following you for many years and your ability to structure, manage and defend a trade is both amazing and admirable. Thanks for sharing your insights.
Another Platinum Video class. Thanks Peter! I really want to learn your options strategy(s). I mostly trade options, just buy then sell (Calls & Puts). Loved the TSLA trade. I caught Thurs open, but I still want to understand (indepth) how you came to using your strategy. I took a screen shot of it all and will break it down (for my benefit of understanding). I missed the open house but will watch the recorded video. Thanks again, Happy Friday and have a great weekend! I've been using that superpower because of election but could not resist TSLA momentum.
Honestly I dont recall, but you can buy some cheap OTM calls to offset the short calls well above to cap off your buying power hit on these ratios (I am not peter, I am a customer)
You can estimate BPR for the 2 naked calls at 20% of the strike price. 270*0.2*100*2 = $11k per tranche. If you bought two 290 calls at 5 cents then the BPR would be $3k for each. Recall that Peter later bought the 275 calls for 0.33 to remove all upside risk. To match you would buy the 275/290 vertical twice.
I applied to Tasty trade account using your referral code. Funded and after 6 months still don't get your subscription for free for 6 months as advertised. How do you resolve it?
Have been a loyal member of your channel for years, but on the ratio spread on TSLA, when you made the announcement that the spread had expanded to a. 62 cent credit I could not see that on my P/L, if I closed the position at that time, may have to review my notes on ratio spreads, but it appears to me you use this strategy to favor the opposite position of the spread as - 1@260, when the stock is ITM, the expansion versus +3@270 grows three times as much when in essence I understood the sold ratio -1@260 is controlling, but apparently not 🤷, need to read more about this ratio strategy to make $4 or $5 by investing, 12cents is insanely attractive
Yes, I think this is a common issue amongst those newer to options. It's easy to look at the chain and see it all as one big lottery ticket but as we know 99.999999% of lottery tickets become worthless. The big secret is to use charts to show you where something should either go or not go and place very specific bets accordingly.
Thanks for the TSLA walk through, took the trade with you but had other work going on so wasn't able to watch in real time and appreciate the breakdown while it was still fresh. Learned so much this past year, my only regret is not signing up years ago =)
Its hard at first, takes some time but really starts to make alot of sense after a while. PR and his team are a good place to start. Scott G Brad and Mike in the Live Suite are also good for starting getting the concepts down, but PR takes it to another level =) Good luck my friend

As always, an excellent Show. Thanks Peter! Have a wonderful weekend.
Mr. Fibb!
$ASTS MAY OPTIONS IN MY OPINON
Excellent!
Fantastic Peter.
Pieter, your TA was nothing short of brilliant. The Tesla example was a masterclass that truly elevated our understanding. ❤
Hey Peter thanks for an excellent educational video....I'm curious to know which expiration week did you use for those trades? Thanks
Very well explained, that TSLA trade. Need to investigate further as a strategy instead of just buying the straight call.

TY! 🥰
Great video, might be one of my favorites
$META FEB 20 CALLS IN MY OPINION!! TODAY
would have been interesting to revisit Carvana :D
Thank u
Did Tesla big move up cause the turn around as it coincided with that large down day?
Great video Peter! Super educational with lots of good trade ideas also! Thank you!🙏
How much buying power did you need for the tesla ratio?
Honestly I dont recall, but you can buy some cheap OTM calls to offset the short calls well above to cap off your buying power hit on these ratios (I am not peter, I am a customer)
Well said, CO-ph9nv. Any ratio can always be "capped off" with some junk calls that will cost you less than 5 cents a contract.

Excellent trade and sheer brilliance on the explanation!! WOW!! Joining room
Glad you liked it and welcome to taking your game up to the next level!

I appreciate that!
Excellent. Thank you
Always informative
never seem to have enough money where options are great instead always end up buying far out cos it's cheaper and hoping for magic to happen 😅❤😢

Excellent, informative video! Looking at a chart of the tnx yield, it seems to be in a downtrend. And peaking.
Excellent work this week, traded with you and a strong 2024 so far 😍

I thought I knew a little about trading but when he started talking about spreads I realize I know absolutely Nothing.

This guy is a F*cking genious!
Are there more videos like this on the paid subscriptions? I'm looking to get better at BwB's.
I miss how much he used to post on UA-cam.
