I hope they get the physics and the scaling right. Thats what screws every single game. It’s hard now that Monster Truck Destruction basically gave everyone the game we always wanted only for 10$. People literally make any track from any time period with wild accuracy. The only negative to that game is the crush car physics. If monster jam put their money into that, it would be like ROR on steroids but we’ll never get that. I’ll be optimistic for this game though
Apparently the game has driving assists that can be turned off at will, which could help with some of the weird physics. I think the stadium banners and ribbonboards might be just placeholders, and we'll get truck specific ones like Steel Titans hopefully. Glad they got rid of the power up thing for offroad racing, and if the AI is tough enough(and they do seem to be competitive from what was shown), it can make for interesting no boost nuzlocke runs on the offroad tracks.

I hope their isnt any power ups like steel titans 2 cuz everytime i would do a outdoor race at the defenders place they would always push me off the track
Graphics look awesome Trucks look awesome Power drifting looks awesome I like the art style, I'm also a really big Grid and Dirt fan Only concern so far is that the trucks aren't bouncing from jump landings. The way the suspension squishes is super sexy but we need rebounds. Also really, really hope there's damage. It's so easy to cheese Freestyle in ST series because there's literally no consequence for driving apeshit.
The out door tracks look like the tracks that were in MONSTER JAM minus the snow and quarry maps and all the special affects. But all the special affects and bright colors are meant for the younger audience.
That would be a dream for the free cam/replays. but looks like we'll be getting meents 8&9 for maximum destruction as a bonus for pre ordering the game but thats all we can see for now
Im excited for this game. Milestone make some quality, fun games and im sure this will be no different. It wont be ultra realistic, but im hoping its got a good mix of realism and arcade

Well the pre order just got confirmed NEA, Max-D (V1), Big Kahuna (Bronco), and Backward Bob. So this game will have at least 2 chassis.

I think what they mean by "official" is that the trucks are real official trucks not made up trucks by the game devs

Steel Titans 1 was good. But Steel Titans 2 i could not enjoy...btw I have played nearly every Milestone Game. I bet Showdown will make fun.
