Thank you! I appreciate this! I’ve got several rollers in case I crash and I’ve yet to make one run on the street. I completed one and tore it back apart to check the diffs and then stripped the case. I’m probably over thinking it and should just go have fun! You are awesome to watch on UA-cam. Good luck with RC hobby and work, too. Very cute good luck charm!
Yeah, I've been thinking on the hero 12 I think it is. I was trying to see what else was out there, a little less expensive, but I don't think it is anything.
I’m not sure the price difference right now between the 8 and 12, but the 8 is a solid one. Even the 7 is good. I’ve tried an action cam, it’s like an off brand go pro and tbey were horrible. I would recommend sticking with go pro and just keep an eye out for more holiday deals. I’m looking to get a second one to set in the road like some of my older videos. To have a second view
A lot of work goes into getting the cars to track straight under load, My road is also slanted so it’s very difficult. I do not use gyros on my cars as I feel like they can make you crash worse if something happens during the run like a tire blowout. My cars are set with alignment to my liking then set the droop screws and dial in aero and remote control settings. It takes a lot of work
My HERO 0:47 Two more questions and then hopefully leave you alone. 1) did you upgrade your suspension to Rlaarlo aluminum suspension parts? 2) did you change your diff oil to million weight or even top off the 20k factory oil? I have two rollers and upgraded the suspension to aluminum and while nice looking not sure if needed for stability at speed? Also, I topped off my diffs which were low but just used 20k. I suppose even this is not necessary? I even stripped a diff housing screw so I ordered a new diff housing 😡. I considered superglue in the hole but said why trust it with a high speed car? Thanks man! 😊
So far everyone of my rlaarlo builds have used completely stock unopened diffs. As far as the arms, I slowly replaced my first car with metal parts as needed if things broke but I would say the main upgrade was the hubs, the stock bearings fit extremely tight and keep the wheels from vibrating. The stock Grey hubs are a little softer and lose some of their tolerance. The arms do help as well to remove unwanted movement. You should be good to go
Thanks for letting me know what you think - I appreciate you! I’m making 2 Rlaarlo cars; one for speed and one for bashing. I’ve bought rollers and replaced all the plastic with aluminum optional parts in the speed car. I’ve bought SAGA gearing for both cars. I’m using a Castle 1412 for the basher and leaving the suspension as is which may or may not prove to be the best choice. I watch all your videos!

Thanks buddy
Awesome run. How can you keep the car go straightforward? Did you use a gyro? Mine makes a curb at 80% throttle.

Do you like 2 pole or 4 pole TP motors? I’m still learning and the amount is info is dizzying! 😮
I typically stay with 4 and 6 pole options, I only have one scm 2 pole tp motor
