I gotta say, Midoriya’s somber moment at the beginning of this made me feel some stuff. The somber mood in general followed by the intense fight gave me consistent chills.

I love how AFO is like, "If I steal her quirk, the rest of the battle will be easy". And yeah. He's right. The power to assign rules over reality is super broken. We kinda saw hints of words being powerful before with the kid who has a manga for a face and can speak things into existence based on noises he makes. But this is a whole different level. If Shigaraki wasn't currently having an identity crisis, Star would've basically one or two tapped him. And yes, Star is the little girl All Might saves in the beginning of the first movie, two heroes.
Speaking of Shigaraki, we see that Spinner is with AFO's real body. Now, we saw that AFO asked Dabi, Skeptic and Spinner to protect him last season. But Skeptic is off getting the remnants of the Liberation Army and Dabi is off doing his own thing. Toga is off in some alley. Only Spinner is with AFO. Now, normally the League sticks together(with Dabi occasionally being the one to run off). But that was when Shigaraki was in charge. This is AFO. The rest of the League don't have that connection with him like they do with Tomura. So they aren't hanging around 24/7. Only Spinner sticks around(presumably to keep an eye on whatever AFO does to Tomura).
Speaking of Tomura, we see him fighting back in this episode. AFO said Tomura is surpassing both his and the doctor's expectations. And the fact that he still hasn't been fully taken over speaks to that. His hatred is so strong that it can hold quirks at bay or even fight them off. AFO plans to use Tomura's hatred to push through OFA. But it also works in another way. That same hatred is what's keeping Tomura from being completely swallowed up. It all started in that house. With a grain of hate. That built upon itself.
Oh boy. Really glad you guys are back. I was waiting for this.
All Might is in the late 50s. He was late teens when he saved Star (Cassi).

Hello React city i am not sure you understood when she said when all might saved her. let me explain she was the girl in the first my hero academia movie called two heroes in the beginning of the film all might had a flash back on when he met his united states friend David Shield. in the flash back the robber was about run over a car in traffic that was stars and stripes family and her younger sister and young all might come to save that event was 20 years ago. go check it out the movie to get what i mean. That little girl become inspired by all might and become stars and stripes i love how she calls all might "master" the amount of respect she has for him shows in this episode. who would have thought that little girl in the my hero academia first film was her that is crazy. soo beautiful ❤

im ngl her power is kinda confusing and i get the feeling the author didn't want her to be extremely over powered but still strong asf
What’s confusing about it? When she touches something and calls its name she can impose a new rule on it. Theirs a limit to how much that rule can power up a living thing but as long as it’s still a rule there’s no limit to how much weaker it can make someone (so if she touches him she can set a rule where he dies if he does something but can’t just say you die) if she’s using her power on a thing with no sense of self she can call it by the name she views it as and it works but if she’s using her power on something with a sense of self she has to match her label of their self with theirs. Pretty simple
@kamronspencer4910 because my point is i have seen ppl already confused the rule with command like when she is on top of him alot of ppl said she could kill him easily when it has to be a rule right?
@@vlavona yes it has to be a rule. And that was clearly stated. Bad media literacy from reactors doesn’t make her power confusing.
I think y'all are really misunderstanding Star if you think Shiggy could just take her power to be a bigger threat. That's why they made it clear that All For One sees her quirk as stronger than One For All. With it, it's game over. She would have killed Shigaraki twice in this episode if it weren't for the ass pull "Who am I?" There's literally no one else on the planet who she couldn't kill. Deku would die instantly.
My Hero Academia is full of ass pulls, and, knowing a bit of what happens many chapters later, you may not like a few of them.
Arguably anyone with mental disorders that affect their sense of self could also "technically" avoid being killed by her rule on them. Multiple personalities, psychosis etc. possibly even something like amnesia if they were given a new name after, but yes, she's still absurdly broken to 99% of people.
