I think that a coaster like Big Bear Mountain would do wonders for this park. It would be a visual spectacle to look at in the entrance. It would completely round out Hershypark’s lineup, as they are lacking a launch coaster less extreme than Storm Runner.
yeah they need a family coaster with high capacity. Hershey needs better ways to handle crowds, as the park is always crowded and lines are usually pretty long, especially on the family attractions.
Another dark ride should help, maybe a flying theater to replace Laff Trakk, then shut down CupFusion to replace it with a much better dark ride with higher capacity!
Yeah Laff Trakk is really their only modern family coaster but it gets terrible lines and is pretty standard. Something like big bear mountain is a perfect fit to really bolster their overall lineup
A family coaster would be good. Maybe a Intimin motorbike style launch coaster since there aren’t any of them anywhere near them. They could call it something like York Peppermint Blast.
Yeah im not really a fan of the boomerangs, especially as a single attraction. Its a lot better at phantasialand where it was built as a supporting ride to a real addition rather than making it its own thing.
Personally, I think that next MAJOR new coaster for HersheyPark should target the families, especially since the park appeals to a broad audience and they need a better way to handle the crowds. As for the coaster type, I think that we could see a version of Dollywood's Big Bear Mountain or a B&M Family Invert come to the park.
Our 1st visit to Hershey hooked us , this will be our 1st season as passholders. We are looking forward to our visit of the season the last week in May
A vekoma launched family coaster makes a lot of sense. A family park first and foremost. It has a fine family coaster lineup. But this would be a real standout family coaster attraction for them.
With Great Adventure messing up I might have to consider making Hershey my home park. It depends on 2026. Anyways I think a family multi launch coaster will be good for Hershey Park. Their only launch coaster is Storm Runner and that appeals to the thrill seekers and has inversions. Also Herhsey could use another good family coaster after their last additions were Candimonuim and Wildcat that appeal to thrill seekers.
I have to agree with them getting a Vekoma family coaster. It just feels like the right fit. I'd personally rather have an Intamin multi-launch as I love Pantheon with all my heart, but I feel the family route is the best next coaster for Hershey. Big Bear was surprisingly awesome, so I hope it's on par with that.
A good family coaster would be good but it has to be a people eater. Something akin to Big Bear or even cheetah hunt would be great - just not something like a family invert that runs one train. Several great options out there and I think a launched coaster is the way to go. Theme it to the Hersey minis but give it enough pop for adults to enjoy as well.
@@vinniet2828 yes but I would at least like it to have a little airtime, if it had a lot of mild airtime moments I’d be okay with that, it would still fall in the category as a family coaster
Yea big bear didn't really deliver much force wise. It's still very fun and I rank it as my second favorite family coaster. Only beat by verbolten. It's worth a ride. Rain rides are super fun
Not to mention, they have some land across the street. They might use an extra few years. Why not use that now to make sure they have the room to build it.
There is a strict height requirement for rides in that area, Airport is less than 10 miles from the park and also a helipad at the medical center less than two miles away.
I personally feel that an Intamin single rail would do better at Dorney Park although I do like the idea of a wing or vekoma family launch coming to Hershey!
If Hersheypark wants to be within strking distance of having the top coaster collection (or maybe top 2) then it will need at least one ultra elite or ultra intriguing coaster. Don't get me wrong, Skyrush is amazing and so is Wildcat's Revenge. But i don't think they are contenders for a top 5 coaster on the planet, nor are they so intriguing and unique that they warrant plane fights for a family. Steel Vengeance is easily a top 5 and for many it's the overall number one. Magic Mountain has an incredible wildcard with X2. It dramatically elevates the park and makes the park a must visit destination even for people on the east coast, even if you don't personally think it's a top ten worthy coaster. Hersheypark is phenomenal and I have it as my overall number three coaster collection as well. But just adding more very good coasters probably won't make it a contender for top dog. It needs a coaster that will serve the same role in the park that Fury 325 plays at Carowinds. Something that makes people think that your coaster bucketlist can't be complete without it. If I could wave a magic wand and give Hersheypark that coaster it would be either one of MACK's new world changers like an uninhibited Extreme Spinner or Striker coaster, an RMC T-rex giga or an S&S 4D hypercoaster. The last two are pipe dreams but the first one is at least plausible. Of course, this is all academic. Hersheypark is not trying to compete with Magic Mountain and they aren't really trying to compete with Cedar Point either. They have different regional markets. But it's fun to imagine.
I would love to see a big bear esque coaster. I would hate to see a wing coaster. Especially since my closest park (hershey is second closest other than sfa(trash)) kings dominion is getting a wing now. It would be lame if hershey just got something similar since theyre so close.
I disagree. I have a request. Can you do a video through escape and build something similar to fury, 325 but taller, faster and longer. 8000 feet a track 100 mph 350 feet tall. I picture it dark brown trains. caramel brown track. The exact same trains and seats as they are on CandyMonium.
I have invented a new term coaster wise..I call it a vekomian...basically a person who really like vekoma....or intaminis...people who love intamins, or Mackies, b&mers, just a few I came up with...ok one more rmc ers....

5:10 wicked cyclone is my favorite coaster at hersheypark lol, but if it was at hersheypark it would still be my favorite there

Please be a full layout Vekoma like Big bear mountain, the family boomerags are fine but there are so many of them.
Not only that but for Hersheypark a family boomerang it has pretty bad capacity (Jolly Rancher Remix exists but should be the next coaster to go)!
Yeah im not really a fan of the boomerangs, especially as a single attraction. Its a lot better at phantasialand where it was built as a supporting ride to a real addition rather than making it its own thing.
@ you’re not wrong
SO excited for whatever this sweet new attraction may be!! 🍫🎢
A single rail themed around Twizzlers would be cool but I’m down with a big Vekoma family coaster.
B&M has a relationship with hp is fully committed to the family model. And it seems B&M does package deals like sea world.
B&M family coster all day
First. And the family coaster idea totally makes sense

They need a family coaster the most. I like the new Intamin coasters that have multiple layouts, they could do something really neat with that.
Our 1st visit to Hershey hooked us , this will be our 1st season as passholders. We are looking forward to our visit of the season the last week in May

I've got to get back there in 2026.

I just hope it has better forces than big bear, big bear doesn’t have high forces from what I’ve heard
I don't think it's supposed to be intense force-wise.
@@vinniet2828 yes but I would at least like it to have a little airtime, if it had a lot of mild airtime moments I’d be okay with that, it would still fall in the category as a family coaster
@@coasterboss1654 I hope so too to be honest.

I really think this family coaster should hopefully simmers the crowds in the CupFusion area, maybe even relocate some of the flat rides in there too!
Vekoma family launch coaster themed to a Hershey candy
Not to mention, they have some land across the street. They might use an extra few years. Why not use that now to make sure they have the room to build it.
I mean a family coaster makes sense. But I would love to see a giga! It would make their coaster lineup best in the world!
just imagine a fury style giga plus wildcats revenge skyrush candymonium storm runner Great Bear Fahrenheit I mean it would be insane!
There is a strict height requirement for rides in that area, Airport is less than 10 miles from the park and also a helipad at the medical center less than two miles away.
I mean the rumor way back when they got Candymonium was that it was a “package purchase” with another B&M
B&M family invert maybe?
They were leveling the land last time I was there and that was in December
I wonder what the theme could be for a Wing Coaster next to Candymonium
Buffalo Wild Wings?😂
Flying falcons lol jk
I think a family wing coaster like Maximus - Der Flug des Watchers at Legoland Deutschland but with a launch like Thunderbird would be a good fit.
Did you forget RMC makes single rail coasters too and they just had wildcat done by RMC.
I wish it would be a B&M wing coaster, but Sky Rush is a wing coaster. I heard they had a 3 coaster deal with B&M but that's only a rumor.
How about Big Bear with actual airtime?
I personally feel that an Intamin single rail would do better at Dorney Park although I do like the idea of a wing or vekoma family launch coming to Hershey!
Not sure B&M is considered smooth and quality anymore lol
I really hope its a single rail coaster
There’s only 1 answer. Family candy factory themed multi-launch coaster.
A multi family launch coaster is coming for 2026
How about some more high thrill flat rides
Hope Hershey doesn’t get a B&M family coaster that rides rough 😂

5:11 you mean wildcats revenge?
2026 RMC Wild Moose, 2029 Vekoma family multi launch
I’d like to know what clones are at Magic Mountain besides Batman? That comment was so far off.
Did you say wicked cyclone?

Soons you say
“ FAMILY COASTER” …. 🙄🙄🙄😒😒
