Find this interview quite sad, it is like she is making him justify his home depot commercial because he used to make movies and now does TV and commercials and then once she kicks him when he is down she moves onto his divorce! He has always had so much charisma and confidence but (unsurprisingly) seems less confident in this interview. I found it a bit sad and uncomfortable to watch.

Every time I hear the commercials, I think of him in Wonderland. Pretty damn good actor too.

So that's the voice of Home Depot. I'm finally able to put gorgeous face to that voice. Love it. Didn't like that woman interviewing him. She made it sound as if doing voice overs was a step down. He's making a shit load of money on a very regular basis. Every time we hear that voice, he's getting paid.

The sad thing is that, 12 years later, he's still known as "Sweet Home Alabama" actor Josh Lucas. The sadder thing is that he's trying to sound like some macho do-it-yourself construction guy on the HD commercial, but he sounds more like the Flipping Houses creep. But, DAMN, he's still cute.

I never even saw Sweet Home Alabama. I imagine you are young. I’m not. I probably have decades on you. He is macho, intelligent and speaks well. Your generation wouldn’t know that if it flew up and smacked you in the head. I looked him up (GOOGLE) because of the HOME DEPOT ADS, dear.

I don’t like the idea of Googling someone at the start of an interview. Who knows what kind of ridiculous rumor-filled BS might show up. Would they Google their good buddies Bill and Hillary Clinton, too? It’s a cheap stunt and shows what kind of sad level this website is at. They don’t do real journalism. My husband and I used to try and guess who the voices are on TV, but since we just watch Amazon Prime and Netflix where they don’t have any ads, that’s done with. I am a big Josh Lucas fan. Super talented, comes across on screen as very genuine, and as a former national radio talk show producer, Lucas has what we call a “great set of pipes.” Rich, full, warm, with a slight accent but very American. I love those Home Depot commercials.

i'm surprised that it's Josh Lucas doing those Home Depot commercials...those ads come up all the time on my Spotify channels and, as a gay man, I can say...he's got an "older gay man's voice"...whenever they come up, i say "who's this old queen talking about painting my house"...it's Josh Lucas...?!?!...would never have thought that..
Thank you, I asked above if this the gay guy that does the Home Depot commercials, or the other guy who only does about 5% of their spots (this video isn't enough to tell if it's the gay sounding guy). Josh Lucas sounds super gay.

But who's the voice for the in store commercials??? I work at home depot, and no way is this the same guy. The in store voice is completely different, annoying, and smug. My coworker and I spent an hour trying find who it is, and it just brings us to Josh Lucas for the regular tv commercials
