- The WSET Level Two Exam Walkthrough - Part Three
In this video series I take a detailed look at WSET Level 2
This video is all about Learning Outcome Three - Understand how environmental influences, grape-growing options, winemaking and bottle ageing influence the style and quality of wines made from the principal grape varieties.
The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is intended for people who have little or no prior knowledge. It is suitable wherever a good level of wine knowledge is required to underpin job skills and competencies, for example in the customer service and sales functions of hospitality, retailing and
wholesaling industries. It is also useful for those who have a general interest in wine and wish to broaden their knowledge.
Successful candidates will be able to describe and compare the styles of wines produced from internationally and regionally important grape varieties, interpret wine labels from the main wine producing regions of the world and give basic guidance on appropriate selection and service, as
well as understand the principles of wine tasting and evaluation.

Thank you for putting these together. It helps in my wset 2 preparation. 🥂 Hope to see you back to youtube again and continue to explore.
All of the videos in this series are SO beneficial. I am awaiting my level one results but have registered for my level two exam. Your videos have given me a lot of confidence going in and I greatly appreciate your time effort and information. THANK YOU. Cheers, friend! 🥂
Thank you so much for these videos. Great job!
That's very useful, I am currently studying for the Level 2 and I was finding it tricky to know exactly what I needed to remember and focus on. Your videos help me targeting my studies.
That's great. Thanks for watching. Hope it helps.
Hello there, Thank you for your videos, they helped me passed the WSET Level 2 with distinction at 86% of correct answers. I emailed the person who provided me with the results, requesting to know what questions I missed, and he said that the UK office don't allow to provide that information. I told them that they should be able to provide that information, in order for us to learn more and improve our knowledge by knowing what we missed. Any body here feel that this academies are already going through untrusted feeling of their reputations and when they denied easy information like that, they become not reliable like what happened to the MS of Sommeliers? I think they should provide the information to be trust, your thoughts, anyone????
The fact that I had to wait for my results 4 months is a big joke. And I agree with you, I had 90% on level 2 and I wish to know what mistake I did...

At 11:51 - I believe the answer should be Merlot, no?
Sauvignon Blanc is blended with Semillon. Perhaps you are thinking for Cabernet Sauvignon which is blended with Merlot
@@TheGrapeExplorer you’re right! I did get them mixed up - thanks for replying to clarify, and thanks for the great videos!
