Very impressed with the auctioneer here. She was fair, didn't oversell the property, and got a great price for the seller.
Much talk about nothing.
She does the whole auctioneer act very well. She has charisma, presence, style, a great and powerful voice, great energy and enthusiasm, and creates a lot of excitement in the bidders. Overall she's a great saleswoman. It's almost like being a stage showman presenter.
Fantastic video. Excrutiating process, but fascinating at the same time. I hope the auctioneer had a beer at the end of the day, because she certainly earned it!
$950k for a 3/2/2 house in croydon south..........insane
house made of wood
maybe stressful but way better than blind bidding. at least it's transparent and open. blind bidding is the main driver of market craziness in Canada
Will have to agree with you. One will have to go through the pain of negotiating with 0 transparency to appreciate this process.
She did a wonderful job
would you make this comment if it was a male auctioneer?
@@tfola3586 🤦♂️
Its her profession so of course she's good at what's she's doing..why the need to make special mention about it... obviously you're not used to seeing a female in a male dominant job
@@tfola3586 no, he was just completing her on doing a good job. Someone having a job doesn’t automatically make them good at it that’s stupid. Plenty of terrible auctioneers. Obviously you’re type of woman that doesn’t get compliments very much and I can see why.
its the back house of a split block in CROYDON STH FFS, madness
Clayton...
This people are bidding like there won’t be any house is left 😂
FOMO is real when demand > supply, but yeah get what you mean haha.
You can feel the tension and you're not even bidding!
the intensity is real :)
The perfect definition of getting too attached to a property
Titan AXO social proof is a powerful thing! This was back in 2017 though. The market is very different atm for obvious reasons
how come they dont ever show inside property on the video
Hi April, the main reason is because the 4G connection in the property, form room to room can be very unstable for a live stream. Perhaps next time when the signal is really good, we will give it a go :)
What a great auctioneer
Auctioneers put on a show and create loads of drama surrounding the whole thing haha, it's actually entertaining to watch. Obviously it's their job to sell it for as much as possible, cause the the real estate agency they for work gets cut, and they do too.
But you can just imagine how many people without experience would be falling for their tricks, and over spending (not referring to this particular video, I am referring to auctioneers tricks in general).
Wouldn’t you still rather negotiate openly compared to privately without knowing if there is a genuine competition?
@@AuctionReporters yeah in this aspect auctions are better. But on the other hand auctioneers can be very manipulative with all their stupid tricks and lure people into overspending!
Experienced bidders know all the tricks very well and won’t fall for them, inexperienced people and specially young couples almost always get lured into overspending.
@@peter.joseph yeah definitely if two inexperienced buyers are competing against each other…. But come to think of it more tricks can be played in a private negotiation 🤔 .
Either way the more experienced negotiator is always gonna have the advantage, both privately or openly…
@@peter.joseph let us all in on some
of those tricks Peter! I didn’t see this lady use any “tricks” but maybe you know something the rest of us don’t?
This price should be in CLAYTON! Even as of today
Every time she says today I took a sip of Pepsi Now I am drunk
What an awful process to have go through to buy a house. I couldn't endure more than 4 minutes of the annoying sales spiel. 🙅♀️
I rather die instead of selling my house or buying.
Can’t agree more
I tend to agree - auctions are emotionally draining. The attempts at humour by the auctioneer are cringeworthy at best.
Nearly $1M for this property in Croydon South ?? WoW
Good luck for your resale in the future 😂
This was back in 2017. Will be interesting to see how much it is worth today. REA seems to think it is worth lesser than that at the moment but it is hard to say. The market is hot at the moment.
@@AuctionReporters the person who bought it paid way too much the house was bought for 630,000 in the same condition in 2014 thats 320,000 rise in 3 years!
@@seky123 someone has to lose for someone to win :) there were six bidders at this auctions. check out the auction stats here www.auctionreporters.com.au/property/1a-faraday-road-croydon-south-3136-vic/1754
Ok
Big crowd
The size of the crowd isn't always a good indication of how an auction will go, since a large portion of the crowd tends to be nosy neighbours.
The demographic is changing. Lol. Yeah drug addicts to bogans. Lmfao 😂
What did she do to her eyebrows... I wouldn't be able to bid
pure evil
