As a DMV native I’ve had countless pairs of the V3s over the years so I wasn’t as interested. I hit on 2 pairs of the V2s and as Hes said they are of amazing quality. I’m genuinely surprised the resell isn’t thru the roof on these. I’m sure if it had been labeled as an ALD collab the hype beasts wouldn’t have eaten them up.

Have the 997 Made in USA, great quality but the heel area is angled inward and digs into the Achilles. Love the new sweats and hope to see that in person...
Question I’m looking to get the v2 but I don’t know about sizing, would you say it’s comparable to the 550 and I should go down a half size? My normal size is 11.5 in the runners portion of NB but I tried the 550 and 11 is good for me with good toe box space I have normal width feet
I just got the 990v1s and they’re awesome in hand. Kinda wish I got the 990v2s tho. I also copped the sweatpants from the collection, and they’re great quality, but they run long and are very pricey
I ordered a 996v2 and returned them. I found they ran too narrow and didn’t feel as comfortable as my 574. The padding around the heel was too bulky also and seemed like they would most likely cause friction and blisters.
yeah made in USA or UK have better materials but noticed they don't last long though... soles on mine completely separated after a year or so... :( nice but don't last long

Another knockout from NB. Their quality is second to none, though a bit pricey. I like the pride they take being made her in the US. Another great slept on brand is Karhu. The quality on every shoe they make is on par if not better than NB and great colorways

The Made in the U.SA stuff is way over priced. Also the Gore-tex Ultra Boost in black with the red and yellow hits, only went up to size 9.5 U.K or 8.5 U.S- so with my size 10 (U.S 11) I was half a size out- very shortsighted of Adidas to do this- they also didn't respond to my tweets questioning it. Their loss.
The whole range is really really ugly in my opinion but also fact granddaddy trainer's. They remind me of hi-tech silver shodow but I actually prefer them.
Shoes look good but looks like they took the suede out of a garbage bin - ruins all the shoes- i get they are goign for nappy suede but for $200 it looks bad
Here in the UK NB just werent seen as anywhere near as on par with Nike when (90's) and where (Middlesbrough north east england) I grew up. To this day I see that big N on a trainer and i think it looks lame and cheap af my minds just programmed that way at this point. Which is kinda crazy considering they're so expensive and seen as premium so much in the US. Here they were/are just seen as naff af Nike wannabes lol the only people that really rocked then were lame old teachers who were NOT one bit cool. Kids wouldnt be seen dead in them round my way. I was shocked to learn about the opposite in the US, I still think the designs look SHITE.
I think the suede looks ugly and all the stuff is way overpriced. I wouldn't even mind that if it had some kind of appeal but to me it doesn't. To each it's own I guess. I wouldn't trade my nite jogger for any of those beaches the quality is better in addidas.

Do you clean that? Suede the same way you would clean regular shoe suede because that's the way it is a little bit more hairier

How does the 991 grey compare to the other classic 99X pairs? In some photos it looks a little tan than grey.
Why you didn't lace the 990v2 properly? If you show them unlaced we are missing the whole shape and design of the shoe.
