I own a wheel setup and wanted to try it because I thought it was stupid as well and the amount of times you have to yank the wheel far left to raft right just makes it near impossible to play unless you half throttle and lose every race

No it's a bit different, and worse unfortunately, I've tried drifting with the wheel and it's near impossible to hold a drift 😭
