the butchering the Faith scene was subjected to is a crime. They already cut the part from the book where Jamie tells Claire how he felt when they took him to the Bastille thinking he had basically killed Claire and the baby, and then knowing the baby was dead and Claire most certainly on her way to...but then they scissor basically his every line on the actual scene...it's so freaking unfair also cutting the most important sentence from the scene of Jamie telling Claire about William..,the whole "well, his mom blackmailed me with getting everyone at lallybroch in trouble so..." like cmon, its 10 damned seconds
The emotional character scenes are the most powerful, even more so than the action or sex scenes, or the ones that the show writers have created from whole cloth and didn't come from the books.
What Outlander does not need is more “scenes” the author did not write. Chances are, those kind of scenes needed to be deleted. Unfortunately, too many of those manufactured plots and scenes were crammed in with no better reason than a whim.
The TV series has written out the deep connections (with many characters) one finds in the books. I keep watching hoping it will get on track. They seem to cut pivotal heartfelt moments. I really wonder why. What’s the agenda?
I think the scene of Jamie giving Brianna advice regarding Roger should have been included and there should be more scenes with them together as father daughter relationship.
yes all of these scenes should have been included ESPECIALLY the one of Jaime talking about losing Faith ..I think he very possibly could have won and award for that one .

You know what? I'd rather hear the actors in the scenes than you. Why do you need to give us a commentary? The scenes speak for themselves. Sheesh.

When Jamie tries to reconcile with Claire after the death of Faith, it was Sam's best performance ever.
So very touching of Jamie. With his life in the time it was, most people never thought our relationships were so close with feelings. I cried for him!
There is so little air time I do not think anything should be cut. There would be less droughtlander if there were more video

Makes sense to cut the scene with gellis and Jamie since she turned out not to really be Claire’s friend in the end.
