(the) Gnorp Apologue Speedrun Mode -

First things first: this game rocks. It's unrelentingly replayable.
I've been chipping away at speedrun mode for the past couple of weeks, and I think I'm getting close to the point where new strategies will be necessary if I'm going to improve any further. So it's time to experiment! If you have any ideas, please let me know :)

You could've gotten a much faster time if you just prioritized getting rockets, you could've had them almost 2 minutes earlier

That's awesome, cheers for the idea :) I tried it out a few times, but it didn't seem to help my times very much. From what I can see, getting earlier rockets doesn't seem to be worth the delays in other purchases. The 7 gnorps required to unlock it are sorely needed in the early tiers of the game -- especially since rockets only really start to shine once the Power accord has been unlocked.
My current PB is 8:28, if you can beat that with your strategy then please post a vid!
