It makes so much sense now why that ONE BITE flipped a switch in Stolas and had him acting so thirsty - because he WAS starving for it. His entire life he was never given a DROP of intimacy or passion. Nobody chose to be around him for him. Like what a way to take a character who acts so wild in episode one and give him such a valid and tragic reason for how horny on main he is. And it's so tragic because from what we've seen so far Blitzø seems to actually care about Stolas too but simply cannot express it. He's walled off entirely - so they are both suffering. So sad.
@@supattreewatanawong5025 To be fair to Stolas, Blitzø is TERRIBLE at communicating with him and constantly plays will-they won't-they with him. He wants to open up to Stolas but can't, so he is just constantly aloof. I feel like anybody could easily misunderstand his signals.
Blitzo oes not consider himself worthy of being loved, for very good reasons which we will discover in later episodes. It's not that he cannot express how he feels about Stolas, but he truly believes himself to be beneath being loved, most of all by someone like Stolas.

I couldn't really get into that without touching on spoilers but Blitz's baggage hits so close to home for me that OOPS actually upset me deeply and I needed a hot minute to recover from it. But his behaviours can be a bit lost on some viewers before we reach that point, and it's especially lost on Stolas since they can't communicate with one another. It's truly a tragic narrative because they both could be so good for one another if they could just break those walls down.
Hazbin Hotel makes me feel bad for Angel Dust. Helluva Boss makes me feel bad for Stolas. Watching them sing about their pain always makes me want to cry
You got to keep in mind who Blitz's father was. Look how he was treated and raised. He was literally taught to use people before they use you. Give Blitz some slack.
Yeah, Blitzo even wanted to use Stolas so that he can access his grimoire to access the Earth, but he felt bad for Stolas after Stolas mentioned how he never got intimate before and felt wanted by his first friend, being Blitzo himself.
I feel bad for blitz too. I mean, stolas got the short end of the stick, and I could write a whole ass thesis about it, but blitz has it super rough too, being an imp in hell. Blitz has been used and manipulated and poorly treated his whole life, and has loads of self worth issues and trauma, revealed from his bad trip in s1e6. He was forced to steal from stolas as a kid then, and has only known underhanded tricks as a means for survival. Him and stolas are such complex and wonderful, compelling main characters, the show makes you sympathise with both of them. Blitz was super upset and crying about stolas and his other issues in the end of s1e8 and s1e7. Little glimpses of how he's not a complete jackass.
Fun fact: paimon (Stolas dad) is more obedient to Lucifer than other kings are. ( although it’s still unknown if Stolas’ family is really close to Charlie’s family). Plus Stolas has 70+ siblings.
I think child Blitzø did eventually see kid Stolas as pal by the end if their play date. Stolas was not upset with Blitzø so I doubt Piedmon even cared about whatever they stole because he had a happy and content Stolas for a while out of his way. Adult Blitzø remembered what kid Stolas had said about his Grimoire and just wanted to steal it. Imps aren't supposed to be leaving hell for funsies. He didn't want to interact at all, other than imp staff to do it. Then he got caught up with Stolas' misunderstanding and ran with it. Definitely read the signs that BirdBoy was interested and repressed and used that. Hard to blame Blitzø for not putting stock into it at the time because it has been decades. Stolas got more comfort and complete joy out of the single-purchase play date than Blitzø. The circus ain't rich and Cash is a POS but Blitzø has a friend with Fizz and a family that at least works together at that time. Stolas is just another kid to him.
I mean you can say Blitzø is the bad guy here but there’s a lot that could happen in 25 years. His father could have sold him out more times than one. He has said he wanted to be famous in a Circus, so who knows how long until he gave up on that dream. Also there’s a reason for everything, like what causes someone to be in the killing business. And even though Blitzø tried to steal the book from Stolas, it was found out that Blitzø has the book and made a deal to be able to keep it. Yes, Stolas deserves better but the heart wants what the heart wants. And to be honest, Blitzø hasn’t refused the deal yet so could be that he doesn’t mind being with Stolas😏
