Manchan is honestly is the best couple for me.
Like their love is not extravagant, steamy nor showy. Their love was silent but full of understanding on both sides that no words are needed to be spoken to know each other's feelings. No multiple kiss scenes were needed to show how they love each other. But the simple act of a hug, especially the holding hands was the most romantic scene I have ever seen, it made my heart soft than any other kiss scenes I have watched in a K-drama.

I think its a happy ending. If he didn't let her go she will remain immortal and he will aged and once die. And then she'll be live a painful life without him. He said that he don't want to be remain as only a 99th manager in her life. He want to be the most special one in her life. If she didn't go to the afterlife, she'll never reincarnate. Ma Go said that they are tied together forever. So they'll meet again in their future life❤
