Just ordered my Casita, I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing so much information how you and your fur baby live in your Casita what a wonderful lifestyle. 🤗❤️
Awesome, Congrats on your Casita 🎉 When do you get it? Thank you for tuning in to the videos and for the positive feedback. I sure hope you love your little camper as much as I love mine ❤️
Yes and no. I absolutely LOVED my Casita but for the way I travel now I really enjoy not having to set up, level, tanks, breakdown etc every time I stop. I will ALWAYS recommend Casitas but I’m enjoying the freedom to move on a whim and parking almost anywhere when traveling. It’s easier to stealth camp in a white “work van” lol
Hi Christy, I noticed in your ‘Living in 84 square feet…’ video what appears to be a ‘shoe rack’ above the entry which appears to be (2) spring loaded tension rods…I will be stealing idea. Where did you get the tiny wooden riser that almost fits the tiny shower floor space? In the spirit of playing fair…you also pointed out your “very, very fancy trash bag”. I hang a garment bag inside the closet that holds an open large grocery store plastic bag for ‘clean’ trash. I started with a cheap garment bag from a dollar store but quickly replaced it with an extra, more ‘manly’ garment bag from Men’s Warehouse. Of course no food scraps go in it. I dispose of food scraps in a disposable plastic tub/with lid (empty yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. container) that I keep in the tiny freezer until it’s full. Robert
Hi Robert, feel free to steal the tension rod idea lol. The Bamboo shower mat was from Amazon amzn.to/3Q9T950 Good ideas on the trash! I’m always looking for easy alternatives. I appreciate you following and commenting on the channel 😀
@@TinyTexanAdventures absolutely! I would love to purchase a casita one day and live on the road full time eventually. Casitas seem like great tiny homes. Currently, I'm watching your part 2 pros video 🤗
Awesome!! I’m seeing more and more people working toward that very same thing. Its not always perfect and I know it’s not for everyone, but I’m a huge fan of my tiny home on wheels and the adventures it brings❤️. I hope if/when your times comes that you will have wonderful experiences as well :-)

Excellent video! We’re currently Fulltime in an R-Pod 179 but it’s not quite for us. We’re starting the savings fund for a Casita. Thanks for the info!
I had to look up an R-Pod to see what it is. It’s so cute! I do love my little Casita though ❤️ Thanks for tuning in and best of luck on that savings fund! Safe travels out there :-)
@@TinyTexanAdventures Yes! We will be around Fort Worth and then headed to Big Bend area...yes, we know it will be hot but we are Texans and can manage the heat. The cold on the other hand . . .
Good videos. I'm looking at used Casita's now. I live part time in Texas and part time in the Philippines. Last year I lived in a 6x12 converted cargo trailer and a slide in converted utility shell. The Casita would be a great upgrade. I can go to my old park for the same price. Keep the great videos coming!
I have definitely loved every minute of my almost 4 years in my Casita. I’m actually going to be selling mine and going a different route for traveling/living for the next few years but highly recommend a Casita ❤️. Thanks so much for tuning in. My Gidget will still be around for videos until she sells. :-)
i also have same rig, not the closet system yet.. ours didnt come with a tv. i also love that hack u have above your front door for flipflops. how have u fixed the under sink cabinet space, we dont have a microwave, so looking for something for that space, than a giant hole, also the one drawer space..needs something better. I love the propane so do use it to cook with. and quick heat up in the early hrs. with vent cracked
Hello my fellow Casita friend :-). Thanks for watching and commenting! As far as the under sink organization, I’m still looking for something better. Currently I store my cutting board and cooking items under there but am looking to add some kind of shelving when I figure that out 🤷🏻♀️. I do have the microwave but I’ve seen many people use that space as a pantry with a couple of tiers. I find that I’m often tweaking things when I run across handy storage items, or watch another UA-cam :-). Safe travels out there.
We got our casita the end of May and we have loved every second of it. It’s fun to see how cozy you have made yours. Thanks for sharing and love all your videos.
Thanks for tuning in :-). The back bumper has a storage for the small stinky slinky but it’s not wide enough to store my regular sized Camco/Rhino hose.
Thank you :-). In that video I was at Millcreek Ranch Resort in Canton, TX. It’s more expensive than the state parks I visit, but it’s one of my very favorite places to stay when I go through town to visit family & friends. I have a separate video on that park.
Thank you for watching and commenting:-). I do not have a home base. I stay at State Parks, boondock (when not so hot in Texas), and occasionally stay at private RV parks. Are you a full timer?
@@TinyTexanAdventures no, I am not. I had a 2019 casita spirit deluxe for over 3 years but sold it recently because of lack of use and having to store it somewhere other than my home because of hoa policy. I am already missing my little casita :(. Thanks for answering my question.
Aw boo on the HOA rule :-(. You are welcome to watch and travel virtually along with my travels lol and maybe someday another little camper will find its way back to ya. :-)
@@TinyTexanAdventures lol, no name yet, but she’s definitely a she! There are some Rallies on the OR coast I might check out. I have taken my dog Annie out several times. Just got back from a WA wine country weekend that was a blast!
Lol!!! Oh the Oregon Coast would be amazing for a rally!! (You know I left Gidget at home the last time I visited there 😳). Wine country weekend with the pup sounds fun :-).
Oh wow,84 sq ft. Am I crazy thinking that sharing space with 115lb. GSD, is possible? I am thinking full time on the road with my dog. I am leaning toward a spirit to.
Actually I personally know a several full timers that travel with a huge dog. I only had a teacup chihuahua so I don’t speak from experience, but the ones that do seem to work it out just fine. I would guess the dog would need to be relatively calm lol
So cute!!! Is that the TV the casita came with or did you purchase a bigger one? Also in the bathroom, did you purchase those small covers for your shampoo etc to not fall? If so, could I have the link :)
Thank you:-). That is the TV that came with the Casita. I’d like to eventually upgrade it, but for now I can’t complain:-). The plastic strips in the bathroom that hold the shampoo etc in place also came with the Casita. You might be able to order the pieces from them, or make your own using super strong adhesive. (If you do fyi it, add it on your channel so everyone can see)!
I’m curious about your bed configuration. How did you make the bed smaller to give you space for the drawers, etc? Thanks! Can’t wait for my Casita delivery!
When will yours be ready?!? I just purchased a twin mattress from Amazon and I cut a piece of wood the width of the mattress to fit the table space. (Home Depot and Lowes will usually cut to size for you). I had the full size for a while but can’t reach the upper cabinets very well without climbing on the bed so this was my compromise. Plus I get the added space for the drawers :-)
@@TinyTexanAdventures The drawers are nice and neat, and I love the storage! I ordered my Casita last Thursday, and my delivery will be around August 2023. I’m 5’3, so I was also wondering how inconvenient the storage over the bed would be, but this is a great solution! I will keep following you as I prep for my “Wander Woman” Casita! Thanks for answering!
