I LOVE all these ideas. I have to say, i've felt very silly because I bought a LOT of the project life sets (From Tuesday Morning clearance shelves) because I suck at journalling and I thought they'd help me get into it. Y'know what, I still suck at journalling. But, in the past few years i've gotten into decluttering and all my project life boxes have mentally been put on the hit list. Now that I see all your wonderful ideas, they may be able to feel safer in my stash! Thanks SO much! Sorry it took me 2 years to see this video!!!
Wish I had seen this earlier, before I sliced up all my unwanted pages in some paper pads to make those scrap strip card fronts. : /. They would have made nice cards and projects like these. Septeria 18 also makes nice little projects similar to these, plus her own ideas. If only I had thought just a bit smarter. Thank you!! Now, to get some photo pages, and redo, or update some of our girls, and grandkids photos, too.
Sometimes I grab a PL card and use it as a recipe card. I'll put a picture of the dish on one side, write or type the recipe on the other and maybe even run it through my laminator. I'll use them as quick gift tags too...put a to and from on it with an extra little note and tie or tape it to the gift. But I find that when I make mini albums, I usually make pages with 1 to 3 pockets in them and use the PL cards as inserts. That way it's easier for the recipient to put their picture on one side of the card and journal on the other...without having to do it straight on the mini album page, which can be daunting. Hope that makes sense. Thank you so much for your ideas...I'm totally going to use that package topper example!!
Great ideas! I've used them for quick note cards on gifts and as gift tags. I love using them in mini albums - either as an added embellishment or as the base/pages of the album. TFS!

Thank you so much for this video...even though I am very late in finding it:) I have never used PL cards but recently found a whole set at TM for $1.47...couldn't pass it up!!! Now I have some ideas as to how to use them. Your projects are all absolutely adorable. You are very talented.
Such a sweet comment, thank you and you are very welcome. I am happy you found some to play with....I'm sure you'll come up with some creative uses too!
Great tips Ms. Gina... I especially appreciate the tip on the plastic versus acetate. It is so hard to find acetate in my area that is not super expensive. Thanks again. I pray you are doing well. Scrappy hugs!
This is so brilliant! Thank you so much! I don’t have any project life cards yet but I can use my scrapbooking paper until I buy some! You are so creative 😆
Thank you so much just look in the fabric department It's on huge roles that they will cut for you.... It comes in different thicknesses so feel each one they have and pick the one you like best

If you journal, they can be used as tip-ins or a journal spot for a scrapbook page. Ali Edwards will cut elements from her PL type cards to use as embellishments. I love the pocket idea and will use it for my journal!
