For me, when I write, the main thing is legibility. That is the whole point. These inks are superb in that respect and this was a very useful review. Thanks for sharing. Jan.
@@OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita That is so awesome. :D I am currently at 12 Kaweco Sports (only listing the fountain pens here), 1 Vintage (12 G), 1 Steel, 1 Art (metallic-turquoise), 1 AC (Racing Green, though I also the Orange one), 1 Collectors Edition (Coral), 2 Frosted (Lime Green, Natural Coconut), 1 Classic (special offering from a local store, however I sometimes think that Kaweco offers as very similar one, but I haven't investigated that yet), 1 Skyline (mint), 2 AL (Anthrazit, light blue), 1 Highlighter ...and quite a few other Kaweco fountain pens. :D Back when I didn't have a Kaweco Sport, I was always wondering why you had so many of them... I mean there must be something to them, that makes you enjoy the so much. Little did I know that I was about to learn that the hard way. I don't really like small pens, but... - they are _CUTE_ - they also seem to clone themselves, you look away for a seconds and you have another one, they just keep getting more an more... :D - they are also good, well sealing pens that don't tend to dry out very easily - *some* of them are also quite inexpensive (others not so much, looking at you AC Sport and ART Sport with a Rhodium plated gold nib) ...also the cloning thing, I can exactly trace down when that happened. When I bought my second brass Supra, I bought the AL Anthrazit and the Skyline Mint along side it... and this has spread to other pens: - Supra (4 = 2 brass, 2 Stainless Steel) - Dia 2 Bernstein (3) - Lamy 2000 (5) - Diplomat Excellence A2 (3) - Pelikan M205 (2) - Pelikan M1000 (3) ...but I m very happy with my pens. :D

Great review! I love Kaweco inks. Caramel Brown is my absolute favorite and Palm Green is my second favorite. I haven’t tried Midnight Blue as of yet but will be ordering soon thanks to this review :)
Thank you for the video! I bought a kaweco pen today and some inks (orange, green and midnight blue) and im super excited to try them out myself. But now i need to find the purple ink somewhere bc i fell in love! It was super helpful thanks again! ♡
Of course the ink swatching is always more spectacular than writing with a pen because it shows much more of the ink. However the Royal Blue is a nive ink.
The only Kaweco ink that I have tried is a cartridge that came with my Kaweco Sport or Liliput, I can't remember which one. Your swatches make me want to try these inks...they are beautiful! I especially liked the Midnight Blue and the Palm Green.
I have three of these Kaweco inks: Midnight Blue, Palm Green and Ruby Red. Extremely nice colours, and well-behaved inks. But just a little too dry for my tastes. In these ink swatching videos, sometimes I think that beautiful knife is the star of the show. Oh, I also have the Pearl Black, one of my top four blacks for a long time.
The black is really on top of my preferences. It reminds me a lot my old favourite: vintage Parker Quink Black. I don't want to turn the channel into a knife channel (and I obly have maybe a dozen) but I like this one a lot and I'm always very happy to use it in these videos. I bet Victorinox never thought that ink swatching could be a use for their Hunter Pro Alox!
Thanks. I would say Pearl Black, Caramel Brown and Palm Green. The ones on the more dry side are the Sunrise Orange and the Smokey Grey. I'll need to make the reviews to be able to answer in a more objective way, though.
This vid is right up my street Paulo, thanks!; know I like Kaweco Royal Blue: have sample of this ink and suspect will eventually get bottle too; also like look of orange(agree with you about orange inks: can’t get enough of them, but favourites are J Herbin orange indien and Iroshizuku Yu Yake), red is nice too but prefer Yama Budo; favourite grey is Iroshizuku Fuyu Syogun(grey with hint of blue: love this ink, you should try it:); favourite black is definitely Aurora black; obsessed with green inks: like the look of this one - got J Herbin Lièrre Sauvage hoping it would be more like this: it’s much lighter than I was expecting, think Iroshizuku shin ryoku might be more what I was aiming for; favourite blue black is definitely Pilot blue/black: absolute stunner!:); not really into purple inks except for Yama Budo:)
Thanks... I like this Black because it reminds me (in a good way) of the vintage Parker Quink Black. I also like a lot of greens and browns and these from Kaweco are quite good. The ink I don't really like is grey. Not the Kaweco Grey, but Grey inks in general.
Have you ever tried Caramel Brown from cartridges? Mine looks nothing like the pictures I see. It is a flat brown on Rhodia and normal paper, and on Tomoe River it is a grey olive green. It is hideous. I thought the cartridges were bad, so I got a new pack from the store, and it is exactly the same. Have you tried it on different papers?
I did, but it was a long time ago. It is a very dark brown. You can see me writing with a Pilot M nib in Muji paper, last week, but it is from an ink bottle: ua-cam.com/video/CuPJB_ykBuM/v-deo.html Also, my older review on Moleskine paper, this one with a cartridge, and some greenish tones can be seen: objectosdeescrita.blogspot.com/2016/10/kaweco-caramel-brown.html I'll start soon making the video reviews of all the inks in these bottles I received, and show the tests on different papers.
I know this way of sswatching doens't show how they behave in a nib. Even different nibs show the inks in different ways. I like the Kaweco Palm Green. It reminds me of the old Parker Quink Green. I steill need to make the review of these inks to show all the behaviour in swatches, chromatography and with two different nibs. I'll do them when I have the time for it.
A great show-off of Kaweco inks. Helpful for me. Thank you. 👍🏼
Thank you for watching. I thought it would be relevant to do this swatch overview of their entire ink collection.
For me, when I write, the main thing is legibility. That is the whole point. These inks are superb in that respect and this was a very useful review. Thanks for sharing. Jan.
fun fact: I by now probably have a bottle worth of Kaweco royal blue (in cartridges) from all the Kaweco pens I bought. :D
Me too! Just imagine... more than 120 Kaweco Sport pens in my collection so far!

I do like the Kaweco range of ink. Down to earth, and nothing too fancy, but all very practical ink colours.
Practical and they have a range of colours that is wide enough to please many preferences.
Great review! I love Kaweco inks. Caramel Brown is my absolute favorite and Palm Green is my second favorite. I haven’t tried Midnight Blue as of yet but will be ordering soon thanks to this review :)
Glad you liked it. To that very short list I would add the Pearl Black. Simple and nicelly behaved ink.

The cartridge that comes with the pens is Kaweco Royal Blue ink.
Nice swatching! I think kaweko inks are very good! I prefer midnight, green and brown.
Thank you. They are quite good indeed. I have to say that I really like the black.
Same selection here.
The brown and green are very nice. But your knife is fantastic, I have never seen that model here in the USA.
It's a Victorinox Hunter (Pro?) Alox. See here: www.knifemagazine.com/news/victorinox-hunter-pro-alox-review/
@@archivist17 Yes, that is it!
Thanks. I like this knife a lot. It is a Victorinox Hunter Pro Alox - and 2021 limited edition is a kind of orange.

Hello
Is it true that Kaweco inks smell terrible?
No, not at all. They have a very faint smell that I cannot describe as pleasant or unpleasant.
In real life they are looks not so dark and saturated. My Kaweco Palm Green is light and it's annoying...
