This meme even popped up in the Chat-GTP subreddit. Of all the subs that the meme could have appeared in, that was the last one I expected.

It's interesting how everyone talked about that one part, but when Cologne makes an in-depth video essay about it, everyone goes wild (which is expected).

God I love this meme. It's a perfect testament to how monolithic the fabled 2.2 update was to not just Geometry Dash, but the entire gaming community as a whole. I'm not super active in GD anymore, but it's incredibly wholesome seeing firsthand how much of an impact this game has had to be celebrated this way by so many seemingly unrelated communities.
The most crazy part is that angry birds is still not forgotten and still made it here somehow...
It amazes me how after 7 years of stagnation, the GD community is still able to pump out memes that spread across the entire internet

We are getting a new layer of insanity added to the cinematic universe of bizarre GD memes. Congregation, Lobotomy Dash, and now this absolute unit. Colon has made what he swore to destroy into a menace to behold... And I have caught up to the trend too, I made one in Steamlands. Honestly, aside from all the Dash spider part slander and how terribly designed of a feature it is, this trend is really fun and I'm enjoying it quite a bit, a sort of arms race to make as creative of GD spider part recreations as possible in other pieces of media (Or even real life!) and in as many of them as possible is truly something quite special.

I don’t really know why the spider part is a meme. I got it right and I understood what I had to do my first time playing dash.
I like how there are still people who say "idk looks easy" or "I didn't have such a problem". There shouldn't be a place for subjective opinion when looking from game design perspective. In this case it's much preferable to compare previous robtop levels with newer to see the problem. But with other games it's usually harder and requires more research.
