I friggen adore every song from her, but it's not close to top 10 for me either. She's just not made for pop songs, she's way better than that. She could sing the phone book acapela and I'd put it on my playlist, but the upbeat pop songs don't really do it for me either. Can you see this reactor listening to Lana Del Rey...probably not. I do however think that Angelina and Dimash are the 2 best singers on Earth right now, and I truly believe that.

But for me it stops there. I listen to his songs once, but never twice. He loses me when he goes after those high notes. I find them not soft or good for my ears. Showing off is not what music is about for me. I want to feel music in my heart, and Dimash is not doing that for me. Angelina does though, time after time. Two other singers who also do that, are Aurora and Kaz Hawkins. So each have our own preferences and favorites, that is for sure 👍

She never released another video where the pop filter blocked her face. Actually, I think this is the only home recording where she used a pop filter. The only other occasions where I can recall using one were in a studio environment I think if you listen to this a few more times you will realize how this is incredible for any 12 year old. The depth and warmth of her voice in this recording are awesome.
I doubt that there is another top-tier singer in the world today who would feel comfortable that they could deliver and release to the public such an fine, near flawless, no-autotune, one-take version of a song using just a microphone and a karaoke machine (or guitarist) for backup while sitting alone in their sparse home studio. With Angelina, the storytelling is all in the voice and in the singing, nothing else needed. As a vocalist, she outperforms Lana by a mile. One thing also to remember, this 12/12 year old girl usually out sings the original or close to the studio mixed release... she delivers the song. While Lana del Rey does admit to stage fright and can finally get into a song, live on stage, after the song is well underway, Lana can not sing this song, or others of hers, LIVE, this well. Many can sing it better, live, but AJA sings it with a certain vulnerability/delivery.

I can't hear almost any faults in her singing or voice, but the things I do hear; like small errors in pronounciation isn't something I would consider bad, those are proof that this is a real person doing it live and don't edit until perfection. A perfect score would be like sterile room, it may look nice, but it also lacks in personality and depth.

i would have to say that I disagree with you about your point of her being "off" at the beginning , or anywhere, in this song. Could you be more precise? I have been a musician for around 40 yrs, (lead and rhythm guitar, drums, brass{trombone and baritone}, bass guitar) and I don't hear it at all. For The Warning's first album; XXI Century Blood, I recommend their show from January 19th, 2018 at the Dakota Bar. You can find these on The Warning's official UA-cam channel. You shouldn't have any copyright infringement problems from these videos. The Warning's 2nd album QOTMS was nominated for best rock album at the Independent Music Awards a couple years ago. After turning down numerous offers from many major record labels and 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. They have finished recording their 3rd album and we are all patiently awaiting it's release.

I was fortunate enough to get to meet The Warning after their performance January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent and funny young ladies. They are Daniela (guitar, lead vocals, keyboards) 21years old, Paulina (drums, lead vocals, keyboards) 19 years old, and Alejandra (bass, keyboards, backing vocals) 16 years old. They are from Monterrey, Mexico, and all but 2 of their #47 original songs are written in English; their 2nd language.

One thing also to remember, this 12/12 year old girl usually out sings the original or close to the studio mixed release... she delivers the song. While Lana del Rey does admit to stage fright and can finally get into a song, live on stage, after the song is well underway, Lana can not sing this song, or others of hers, LIVE, this well. Many can sing it better, live, but AJA sings it with a certain vulnerability/delivery.

I can't hear almost any faults in her singing or voice, but the things I do hear; like small errors in pronounciation isn't something I would consider bad, those are proof that this is a real person doing it live and don't edit until perfection. A perfect score would be like sterile room, it may look nice, but it also lacks in personality and depth.

i would have to say that I disagree with you about your point of her being "off" at the beginning , or anywhere, in this song. Could you be more precise? I have been a musician for around 40 yrs, (lead and rhythm guitar, drums, brass{trombone and baritone}, bass guitar) and I don't hear it at all. I can usually spot an other than perfect note at a hundred miles, whether I want to or not.. Maybe you caught something I missed and maybe not. LOL either way, great vids brother.
