Its odd that mayumayu thinks like this when he is one of the most capable person on stage/screen I know. The way he entertains everyone by going along with anything and being aware of everyone he works with is an excellent skill. You'd think he'd keep that up forever tbh.

I think Mayuyu is putting the term 'entertainer' in too high a regard. At the end of the day, it is still a matter of how you want yourself to be perceived with the content you produce, whether your thoughts when making them are on yourself or your audience. PewDiePie as an example has gone through various image changes throughout the years as he attempts to either establish himself or break out of the mold, with him recently claiming to be 'retired' and adopting a more relaxed persona of doing whatever he wants. Most people would still consider him an entertainer, so really what Mayuyu should to think about is when he's had enough being the beacon of perfection that is an idol, how should the transition occur to being just an entertainer instead. Is what I say, but I really doubt people will exactly long for the good old days of Mayuzumi. Mayuyu will just be Mayuyu.
I guess this is a common questions to niji boys these days huh? I just watched kanae had this question few days ago too. I'm glad that the boys are very open to answering and assuring their fans that they arent quitting but might be have lesser streaming schedules/hiatus due to irl stuff. Thanks for the translation! ❤️

I've never really thought of these things (since I'm kind of new to the community and I just wanted to explore and get to know vtubers and have fun) but now that I have, I guess you have to realize that they won't be livers forever. There will be a time that they will get a little tired, move on, and live the rest of their lives outside of nijisanji . It's sad to think about but everything comes to an end, that's the way it is you know?

I chose the more natural word here (i.e.: the word that might actually be used as a group name). There might be fan translation channels that just spell it out phonetically because they're confused about it, but that's different from official usage.
