My feedback as a Tiago Ev owner- 1. No comparison between Tiago and Comet unless we know the price and capabilities. 2. Tiago ev is capable to serve within city and highway which makes Tiago a one fits all car. Whereas Comet looks like a city only car. 3. Range can't be the only parameter to compare with, as there are many other parameters involved in an ev. 4. In my opinion, Mg Comet can bring attention if it maintains an attractive price which again depends on capabilities of this car. 5. Last but not least, size doesn't matter. If Comet is capable of giving all the necessary features, it will attract buyers.

Because as I already pay taxes , I must make sure I use the facilities provided by the government like the metro . ₹ 10 lakh @ ₹25 / km is sufficient for travelling 40000km in an autorickshaw. How many km does one travel in a year should be the measure to chose your medium of travel.

👉The base version of this car ought to have been introduced at a maximum on-road price of Rs. 6 or 6.5 lakh. The higher-end features such as the touch screen infotainment system and reverse parking camera could have been provided as options only for the top variant. The MG Comet's limited range and minimal boot space, combined with a negligible price difference with the Tiago EV, fail to justify its compact size. 👉Price is of paramount importance to individuals from lower and middle-income groups when purchasing a car. While safety features such as airbags are non-negotiable, compromises could be made on high end features like giving AUX/Bluetooth music system instead of touch screen infotainment system, reverse parking sensors instead of reverse parking cameras, and dashboard controls instead of steering mounted controls. 👉With safety being a given, @MGMotorIndia should have priced the Comet at around Rs. 6.5 lakh on-road, given the above compromises. This would have put it in fierce competition with internal combustion engine vehicles, and individuals from the middle class would have considered purchasing a new EV car within their budget, rather than opting for a used petrol/diesel car.
Premium 🛺 on 4 wheels. It is practical but instead of spending on Premium interior, MG should have thought of adding small boot to it. The Premium segment could have been planned as upgraded model.
People need to buy this for city commute,i mean this is so practical regarding many things and running cost of ev is so much less than petroleum cars. I hope price to be around 4-6 lakhs and it could be a mind-blowing city commute.

MG has done great job in positioning this car as premium micro EV. The target audience is clearly the rich city dwellers who may want to flaunt their green credentials by travelling in this "aspirational" little car. They donot mind spending 10 lakhs or so for a unique experience this offers. Wheras the nano or Mahindra Reva were targetting the lower Middle class who think thousand times before buying car, which is a big investment and they are generally risk averse. With the poor service offered for Reva and "cheap" car image of nano, both failed. MG did a good job by targetting the right set of customers who want second electric car for city and creating "aspirational" image. They carefully avoided trying hard to deliver for the demanding middle class customer who is going to use as his only car.
Good try. Rich will never buy this as they have to manage image in their society. Even if they want to flaunt their green image they can easily go for xuv400 or zs ev. Why Comet EV?
@@jatinchande Well first of all, its much modern and different than the rest. Its funky and youth who whant to make a bold statement will like that.
