@@rikkinetic That's nice 😄Just had a qs, if you practice the monkey bars are lot that too everyday.. Are there any chances of overtraining/ shoulder injury?
Sorry for late reply To do them everyday is quite a lot so I would definitely look to work in rest periods The quickest answer to that is to listen to your body and rest when you feel you need it
Bro I used to do the full swing easily but suddenly from 2 months not able to swing with same load on my left shoulder. Given I am able to pullup, deadhang etc. Confused what is the problem.
Maybe it’s just a case of being slightly out of practice?? I would just suggest going back through the steps and regressing certain things and build back up! Smaller swings, one arm hanging work etc I’m sure you’d get back to where you were in good time 💪🏼
Hello there, any advice for a 6'5 man. The monkey bars i am using is too low so I cannot keep my legs straight nor my arms straight without touching the floor. If i bend my legs while my arms are straight my feet still touch the floor. If i bend my arms to pull myself up and bend my legs to keep them from touching the floor, i grow tired and can't complete the task. I have to bend both legs and while pulling up. The problem is this is for a test and a job so I cannot change the bars. It's the only monkey bar. Any energy conservation tips for really tall men?
Wow that sounds tough, great question! I would try to have the arms as straight as possible, ideally arms straight and have your knees bent so that you’re in an almost sitting position and practice that! If that’s still not possible then you’ll have to become a master at bent arm and bent legs! Personally I would go sideways if you can? To improve endurance try short bursts of work. I would recommend 20 seconds work with 10 seconds rest for as many sets as you can and try to build up from there - increasing work time and reducing rest. I hope that helps?! Good luck 💪🏼
