nisha madhulikha is a very nice polite lady but a bad cook. all her recipe turn out to be disaster. most of d popular home cooks on ytube give Wrong measurements, wrong methods, so now if i wan make something new i prefer a recipe from Professional cook. they dont give wrong measurements.
I made it using only moong daal.. My digestive system isn't very good with urad daal.. And it turned out so amazing... I didn't even add eno or soda.. just whipped it so nicely using the cake whipping machine.. Thanks a lot for this nice recipe.. ❤
@@soniagupta5687 There was a slight difference in taste... that specific strong taste of urad daal was missing... but the texture was all good... real spongy... i just whipped it for quite a long time..

Bharath ji , wonderful idea very innovative and thoughtful, sounds really healthy and when beaten and whipped up well it should really be fluffy and light, I would however let it ferment for a few hours for it to be even more lighter and fluffy and then steam it Thank you for this wonderful nonfried recipe will surely try it thank you for sharing. 👏 comes great on a table top wet grinder. As it airiates, stone is cold. Can add a ice cube or very cold water to stop the mixie motor heat.
Made these today. But instead of yellow moong dal I had put pink masoor dal in water for soaking. So had to make my vadas with the white and pink dal mixture 😂. Rest of the procedure was same. They turned out awesome as well, no one could guess the change of dal taste wise. Anyways, thankyou Bharat for the nice recipe to enjoy guiltfree.

Precisely. I do the same. When cooking, all the flavors integrate uniformly. That aroma cannot be duplicated by dunking in the "flavored water" as shown.

I tried this long long back without seeing any video about it. I was experimenting with less oil options to eat healthy. Steamed ones didn't taste same as market for Me so i tried in appam maker, that did give me similar taste.
Don't throw away water from soaked dal. All water soluble B vitamins get discarded with water. Instead use minimum water and use it in the recipe for grinding etc.
@@SB_Hope u need to update urself. Soaked dal water has lectins, u need to discard that water even if u r not a kidney patient‼️go read up on it & get educated about it‼️
