I mean if you mainly wanna setup selene consistently, you could play a sinful spoils package. diabellstarr is a spellcaster, dark so azalea comes up more, can send a monster you stole, and can search at least a boardbreaker snake eye card.

I want to recommand a quick play card to you because it's insane, this card is called Blink Out and is from Legacy of Destruction. The card has the effect to shuffle one of your link monsters back into the extra deck and special summon one monster that was used as a material for that card. This allows you to play around hand traps like Veiler or Imperm, also it can be an extender for your Linkage combo. If you go first you can special summon Shizuku first, go into Kagura and activate her effect, if she gets hand trapped, use Blink Out and shuffle her back for Shizuku which still gets her effect off. With this you not only play around a negate but also you don't waste your link monster, because you get her effect for literally free and still have 3 Kaguras or Shizukus in your extra deck based on how you use this card. It also helps you to save S:P Little Knight if your opponent can out her. There are so many cool plays that you can to with this card, big recommandation.

that's a nuh uh. Striker links can only be SS once per turn, this deck does not care that much about op handtraps, and you have in engine tools to play around them with linkage, eagle or role.

Blink Out is a card I considered, but it really only works with the first link you summon, and only if you used raye. if you start with linkage or drones, or you go hayate then kagari, blink out becomes quite a bit worse, and I think there are a lot of cards that are just better to play right now.

It's main use prior to linkage was consistency to see a starter, but now that we have 10 ways to raye, that consistency isn't as important, and spell cards are getting better and better so digging for the sky spells isn't as important when the rest of your deck is full of really good cards that aren't striker cards.

@@BrianKalina so happy to see someone else not playing a0, the card is so outdated and slow, and you are right we already have enough starters (12 if you include rota and 3rd linkage) which hits the 90% chance of opening one.

why only 2 linkage?

Right now we have 10 starters in the list (3 engage, 3 raye, 1 roze, 1 drones, 2 linkage). The bump in consistency adding an 11th is pretty negligible, and eventually we're going to hit a point where adding more starters clogs hands more often than it fixes them. Also linkage is my least favorite starter since it costs another card to resolve it. We're losing games because we didn't draw Raye MUCH less often than we used to, so I don't think there's a need to max out on starters because than we're going to start losing games because we have too many Rayes
