I must say. Today I was feeling like I didn’t want to live, that I’ve disobeyed the lord so much that I couldn’t be redeemed. That he wouldn’t forgive me, and wouldn’t love me as of child of his own. I prayed a long time to know what the truth was, because over the years I grew increasingly confused, frustrated, misguided and so on.. But like most of us, I kept returning to church Sunday after next hoping something would change. If I sang more, prayed harder, got more involved, etc, ...maybe something would give. But nothing ever did. I must have walked a thousand isles. It had gotten to a point where a friend at the time said, “just try and sing". He meant well, but it was always disingenuous so I never did. Long story short - my whole Christian life was that way until recently. (powerless) God has since opened my eyes and I trust Him alone.

i am so inspired by this music, i feel, need, and love this music. I am a lost drug addict who is in and out of jail, don't know which way to go. I don't have family, friends, or much support. I've decided to work on myself and turn my ways, I've went the wrong way for so long and I know there is a calling on my life, I feel it everywhere I turn everything I do. I just don't know which way to go because I've went the wrong way for so long. I'm going to na meetings and hopefully attending church a Baptist church ( I know nothing about religion) but I do know Jesus loves me and has a hold on my life. Man I’m from the streets I lost my ex girl and step kids but my ex girl kept me in the hood I wasn’t Able to praise GOD I felt convicted in my spirit I knew what I was doing was wrong our relationship wasn’t built on Jesus my eyes weren’t fixed on him it was all about sex and money and drugs with her personally I realized our relationship was built off of who I was and not who I am she wouldn’t worship with me she didn’t show me GOD she kept me from him but now I’m able to be me and worship GOD and GOD put a woman that worships and loves him the way I do in my life and all I can do is say thank you GOD because now I’m truly free I tried to commit suicide from the relationship because I lost her but GOD gave me a new purpose in life and here I am today
