Looks like a deposit that I just found in Rowan County, NC. It is a contact zone of granite and metavolcanic rock. Loads of mineralization

    Landmark - giant spider.
No need to document the actual grid lol😂
    Love it!

Hey there, love your vids. How did you gain your knowledge and how would you recommend me learning more about how to find and understand mineralized areas ? Mining school, mining company job, geotech job? Thanks!!

Wait am I missing something? Do sulphides actually make any money? There are some beautiful specimens there.

Most of our mined metals come from sulfides.

Actually iron ore doesn’t usually come from iron sulfides. Extracting the sulfur from the iron creates horrible waste and gases like sulfur dioxide and sulfuric acid, it’s very hard to handle and dispose of, and makes refining the ore uneconomical.

There's little magnetite with the chalcopyrite. Most of the magnetite runs parallel to the limestone contact over 100m away and is associated with quartz and quartz diorite. There's a 2km long by 200m wide zone with disseminated to massive magnetite. What we are mainly interested in is the copper skarn located over a 600m strike mostly.
