    Shedeur is a more traditional QB and is more cerebral than he is physically talented. The most underrated part of Sheuder is that he can manage the life of becoming the face of the franchise. Being a QB in the NFL is more than just what you do on the field.

      This i have the same thoughts reminds me a lot of Warren Moon and Aaron Rodger’s play style wise you could even toss in Donovan macnabb a blend of all three. I also think people forget and overlook he trains n trained with brady in off seasons along with cam ward.
      If both of them had no potential does anyone think he would give them the time of day? A lot of the hate for him stems from his father it’s weird

      @@dariangorman4830 I think that is a very fair concern. You can look at really in two different ways. Is it a maturity issue of being in college and his dad being the coach? Or is it a genuine character issue that will follow him as an adult too? The former will be grown out of but the latter is far more dangerous.

    2 things that translates to the NFL off the top, his toughness and accuracy. His ability to extend plays gets overlooked as well because he's not a traditional runner, but the fact he's not "fast" he makes up for with his ability to see the field while extending the play. I like him alot, he's not jus a "safer" pick than Ward, id argue he's better out the gate. Ward has higher upside obviously but Sanders is Mr consistency with a dose of elite if he can translate which I think he can

    • @Brian-fk8zr
      @Brian-fk8zr Місяць тому +6

      Shedeur is Cousins/Goff with more athleticism. Ward is like a less athletic Baker Mayfield. Ward has much more bust potential than Shedeur IMO. Ward trusts his legs (holding the ball too long) and arm (throwing across to body to the middle) too much he's in for a wake up call in the NFL.

    • @daraider1254
      @daraider1254 Місяць тому +5

      @Brian-fk8zr If he figures it out I think he can slice up defenses like a Brees. A mobile Brees. His floor might be Derek Carr pre leg injury with a slightly weaker arm, which is still great. People forget DC was sharp before the leg injury. Sanders is not afraid, you can tell how he plays. He's taken some crazy hits and it doesn't hurt his confidence, you can't teach that. I like the Mcnabb comp too. He's a mixture of a little bit of everything

      @TheOneJPtv Dart is another one, I see em creeping into the top 15 when the Draft comes. Milroe, Gabriel, Allar and Rourke too. All will be gone in the 1st 3 rounds. Dart is odd to me tho. Dude looks like he plays under water but it works for him. Literally plays at his own pace, as of right now idk if that translates tho. I think his throwing mechanics and processing speed are a bit slow for the league as of now, or maybe that's just how it looks. Maybe like a smoother Will levis or Malik Willis, better passer than both tho. Something is missing tho that I can't point out

      @@daraider1254 Agree on most of the things you said, but I think its hard to say anyone can become like Brees. Bress was so insanely accurate and thre with such anticipation...it's hard for me to say the things he did can be replicated. Brees is regarded by some as the greatest passer ever. A very high bar for Shedeur.

    Let me just say: Any who have the balls LARGE enough to get against this kid - good luck with that. This young man was built in a lab, has his father’s genes 🧬 but Deion has checked his ego. His pedigree is off the charts. If you think this hasn’t been in his plans since birth, and the good Lord has got him this far - check again. I don’t think we have even seen a glance at what this young man is going to become in the NFL. They are sending him in - ready, committed, blessing from his dad, all the talent, labs, training sessions and maybe more than any of your best quarterbacks have had access to. He can put the ball anywhere he wants and plenty of arm. He hasn’t even shown it off yet. You can tell his dad has worked with him on timing and his anticipation was beautiful this season. The number one thing - and this is saying allot, because all of the other gifts - is his leadership. I don’t even know the guy and I’d follow him into a fire if he felt it was right. Trust is KEY in the NFL and he will have that. The X factor, and it’s no secret is, this young man has his father’s genes 🧬 in his veins. This is something that couldn’t be measured back then and now it’s had all these years to split and multiply. Can you imagine? I love Hunter, he’s going to have a long career in the NFL, but ANY and I mean ANY team that does not have this QB at the top of their board, it should be a fireable offense. Don’t get angry that the most talented player to ever touch the pigskin had a son and has now spent the time, investment and love to develop his son into something even greater - be glad you get to witness it. Sanders WILL take the league by storm. Please save my comment and come back to me in 2 years - let’s see if I’m right. Many blessings to him, health and may his grind continue and develop as he is primed to take not just the QB position by storm, but the ENTIRE LEAGUE. The game WILL be changed.

    I studied Carr back through his college games. Sanders is 85-90% of all Carr’sgood traits. DC4 read defense better, stronger arm: He doesn’t show the fumble issues of DC4. Obviously scrambles better. DC4 didn’t start out as a check down charlie- but turned into one from horrible o-line. Sanders will also if he gets smart quickly.
    Sanders will suffer the same fate as Carr if the O-line is just as bad.
    There is a big help having a rockstar TE.
    A lot of people comment that DC4 & AOC fans hate on Sanders- I don’t and I don’t see why that’s a thing. AOC & Sanders would both excel in the same type of offenses.
    I would love to get Sanders and let the QB trainers & coaches decide who is ready and better whenever. We just saw a great game from Aiden- if the O-line improves a little more he could really do well. He can lead while Sanders trains up a o take the lead. If Sanders takes the spot right away- no problem with Aiden as QB2.
    I like Sanders as the pick if we can. If not then just take best available like Telesco did with Bowers, and focus on building O-line. A better O-line helps whoever is QB & RB

      I don’t know what section of raiders fans are taking that stance on sheduer but I’d bet its not LA or Bay Area fans. Carr played in a system at Fresno with a lot of gimmicky calls, bubble screens etc. He also had davante Adam’s who is what people hope Travis will be as a receiver. I don’t know how you can tell Carr read defenses better given the offense he played in was not pro friendly and sheduer plays in a more pro friendly offense. Carr had a better arm and I think his understanding of his system was better. Carr was also more willing and capable of throwing over the middle intermediate than sheduer. Sanders is more accurate and makes more pro type throws(over the middle short and outside intermediate with shots mixed in). He has better poise and he plays better off script and is definitely more resilient. TBH sheduer is the player they were saying Caleb was last year but the controversy is being played up in the hopes he’ll fall. In defense of Carr he was never afraid of pressure or being hit but he did get brain lock went he couldnt get the post snap read he anticipated pre snap. He had great memory of plays and defenses but his fluid intelligence on how to react to a unforeseen change wasn’t great. Too robotic to the point that belichick doubled the check down one year on Carr and you could see smoke coming out of carrs ears as he makes a lot of decisions too early based on alignment.

    You lost me at “he’s a coach’s son.” Let’s dig into that statement. Sanders flashes his Rolex and taunts opposing teams. He bullied a ball boy during half time of a game. He blamed his O line while being interviewed early in the season. Prime doesn’t hold accountable, you can easily argue. The team asked the players to go watch Sanders rap and they okay his rap aloud during team activities. He verbally mistreated a teammate early in the season, witnessed by a local Denver radio voice and attorney and judge Dan Jacobs. So, that’s the coach’s son you’re talking about?

    Brady becoming an owner at this point is actually a clear sign that the Raiders are looking to draft Shedeur. He reminds me of a Jared Goff with a little mobility. The accuracy, ball layering and footwork are similar to Goff coming out of Cal. Cam Ward is decent i just dont think he is on Shedeur’s level as a passer. Hell I don’t think many of the QB’s in last year draft are either.

      @@kevinmiller2210 agreed. Most of Cam Wards ints came on misreads or bad throws
      Sanders had several interceptions that were deflected by the receivers but the passes were on target. He threw a pass inside while the receiver went outside against Kansas for a bad int but I think it was Drelon Miller running the wrong route but Sanders ate the pick
      Cam is good and I got no beef with him, I noticed that he doesn’t read as fast against pro style defense and he improvises and runs when he’s not sure…not a knock but everyone is faster in the pros and I see ward as an Anthony Richardson type…good but needs time to figure it out.
      I see Sanders as a CJ Stroud type. Just good enough to keep the offense competitive and with solid defense behind him could earn some wins as a rookie

    Okay…Carl..Here’s the 64k question??? We know how you felt about Penix last year… I did too… I was disappointed that Atlanta snatched him up… Bo Nix is good too… But I’m glad we got Bowers… If we get Sanders ( I originally preferred Ward , but I watched the Miami/ Syracuse game last Saturday and I wasn’t overly impressed with him.) First time seeing Ward and I believe the Hurricanes aren’t that great of a team to begin with? Especially defensively so Ward gets credit for somewhat carrying his team… He usually gets in shoot outs because he tries to out score his shaky defense… tries to be Super man on every play….. I think you may have sold me on Sanders…. I hope we can get him either by draft position or by trade? I fear that AOC will be just competent enough to get the Raiders a couple of 2 -3 wins with 5 to go? Unfortunately, losing helps more than winning, just saying? I like either Sanders or Ward + Bowers more than Penix by himself? I believe Michael Mayer will be considered a trade asset? If Jacksonville gets the top pick and they still have a shot at Hunter after moving back. I have to believe that Michael Mayer could be more attractive than Evan Engrem? Mayer is good TE but we have Bowers? If We take Sheduer and Dad Deion doesn’t turn into Lavar Ball and Meddle in Raiders business…. It should be a really good fit? That if we can get him? Telesco has a best player policy but I’m hearing it’s a Mark Davis mandate that the Raiders get a QB with their first pick? They’ve got a lot of cap to work with in FA as well…. I hope they give AP another year as coach and I absolutely don’t want Belichick…. Let the Cowboys get him.. we still have the Josh McDaniel stench around here …No Belichick please? Anyway? Thoughts? Can you do a Cam Ward breakdown? Thanks for the video. Sheduer has intangibles.

      I go back and forth on this. A team can’t realistically compete without a solid QB, especially in the AFC West. To me, it’s either Ward, Sanders or Hunter. And maybe Jeanty. Hunter could be a cheat code as a CB/WR, although he’s probably focusing on one at the next level.

    What do the critics see? Well, he habitually will hold on to the ball for 7+ seconds at a time while doing a poor Lamar Jackson impression but unfortunately has 25% of LJs athletic escapability. That’s a common occurrence. How do you think that will translate to NFL defenses? He’s a good college qb but will get people fired in the NFL.

  • @dkny2980
    @dkny2980 Місяць тому

    Sanders is absolutely the best QB prospect in this class and I don't think that's in question. I do however take umbridge was saying how bad the offensive line is. While we can't call them good or world leaders by any stretch we can also recognize that Sanders refuses to throw the ball away way too often and in doing so he causes team a lot of yardage all in an attempt to keep his completion percentage extremely high. We can point to dozens of sacks where had he just thrown the ball away he would have avoided negative yardage situations and had his team in a better position to win. Instead it appears that he did not want to compromise his completion percentage. I think that is fine in college because he knows he's going to be drafted high but constantly taking negative plays instead of throwing the ball away can lead to a swift benching or at least a smaller second contract.

  • @dariangorman4830
    @dariangorman4830 Місяць тому

    I’ve seen a lot of throws to the boundary where the ball kinda goes into the dirt, or low, or sputters, and a lot of deep ball where it sputters out, or the receiver has to slow down. Also, one of his biggest weaknesses is going backwards to often instead of staying in the pocket, or stepping up in clean pockets. I also see, too often, a lack of anticipation. He shows it sometimes, but not often enough, and too often is a see it, throw it passer. I also see a good college athlete, but don’t know if that will translate. I’d guess he’s in the Derek Carr, to Teddy Bridgewater level of athlete.
    Overall, his accuracy, and field processing are plus traits, but I don’t see a high level ceiling, and I have character concerns. I wonder if he’s a great college player, but not NFL player. I see his ceiling being average-above average starter, with his most accurate comp being Teddy Bridgewater, but ceiling being Stroud.
    I have Ward, and Allar ranked higher, and also think Milroe, and Ewers have higher ceiling’s, although he definitely has a higher floor.

    • @dariangorman4830
      @dariangorman4830 Місяць тому

      @ it’s not hate, it’s a honest review. He has average-above average arm strength, but his tendency to drift back, or at times throw off his back foot make it hard to judge exactly where. His tendency to see it and throw it, means he’s not quite in the Burrow, or Stroud level, but he does have glimpses of throwing guys open with anticipation. Again, I don’t see the traits of an elite QB, but doesn’t mean he can’t improve his plus traits to elite traits. And Mahomes has top 5 arm strength, Sanders doesn’t. I’m just stating, I’ve watched a decent amount of tape, and he’s got some weaknesses. I do see potential of a 10-20 ranked QB, who could maybe have some top 10 years, a la Prescott, Cousins, or Carr. I personally prefer Ward, and Allar as prospects, but they also have weaknesses.

What does every QB need to be great? Because everyone at this level are talented. Ans-That is time a great offensive line I would spend all my time concentrating on drafting offensive lineman and have two top tier offensive line why to have depth an throw in a couple fresh guys in the 4th quarter to have the legs to protect the ball n if we are behind we could make a comeback or seal the game to make it out of reach that how u have to win now days can't make it close
