At this price, Boba should have been the correct Boba and should definitely have included his cloth shoulder cape, as well as the clear piece to have him flying as in the recent Mandalorian set. Add in at least one more minifig (a henchman/skiff driver for example). And the Sarlaac should have a spot for the skiff to attach and hover above it. It would still be overpriced, for sure, but with those fixes/additions, it would be a lot easier for me to accept. In any case, great review as always!
It's unfortunate that Lego continues to either over charge for their sets, or just not quite get then right by either poor printing or short changing minifigs. In this case it's both. But one way or another we're going to keep buying. For the August wave it'll be awhile for me. Sales and discounts needed. Great review by the way!
Thanks! I couldn’t agree more! There should be a range maybe - like we want a set that’s between $60-$80 and if the final product ends up feeling like it’s worth 70 then go for that price, but of course this is naive thinking. Lego is a business after all.
It seems crazy that around half the pieces are for something no one wants. Gimme a slightly bigger skiff with a few weequay guards along with the heroes and I’ll pay the $80.
@@2bricks I defer to your hands on knowledge. I was just thinking to maybe beef it up a bit. Have more room for Luke vs Boba and maybe a breakaway section where you could use a long flexible element to have Han and Lando hanging from the skiff. I guess I just wanted a way to make more from it given the piece count used on the Sarlaac. Thanks for your replies, it’s much appreciated. I always enjoy your content, but sometimes I forget to say so!
Thanks for the review. Apart from Hans, Lando and Luke which I'll display in your designed Jabba's Palace the remainder I can waive on! A real miss not including a Skiff Guard, namely a Nikto which they have made before. Cheers 🍻
Unreasonable price, but even if it was reasonable, I don’t wanna pay double the price of the last one for a few tan bricks. The last one was a great, affordable set for kids, this one is $80 💀.
I still have the previous skiff, i just dont care abput this lol while i like Luke's hair piece i dont think its better tham the old one. And i have so many Ham and Chewies at this point, that are basically the same. Lego needs to offer more with their remade sets than a massive price change and an exclusive, limited run figure. Id rather pay $40 for Nien, separately tbh
@@2bricks Well, actually I still need general Lando, but I found the minifig ridiculously expensive, so I'm Frankensteining him from separate parts on BL :)

Thanks!! 🙏 Yeah I totally agree those additions would have made it a much less bitter pill to swallow

Thanks very much! Yeah it makes it more frustrating when they get it really right with some sets and really wrong with others
Getting this set for the minifigs and the skiff seems possible, but I would probably leave the sarlacc unbuilt and use it for parts...
@@kcrain81 makes sense!
Great in depth review! Keep it up! Also 80$ is kind of crazy. Too bad they determine the price before it’s made

I wonder if you could extend the overall size of the skiff using just the sarlaac parts. 🤔
It’s possible, yeah! Though I think it’s pretty much perfectly minifig scaled already

@@Regeor agreed, that price is downright anger inducing. It just makes no sense at all.
Yes I would say that dying is a big turning point in someone's life. Probably the biggest.
Dying ;) ;) ;)
@@2bricks Oh I forgot about the show LOL. My bad.
@@TheFirstCurse1 hahaha it’s ok, it wasn’t the most memorable, I still enjoyed it though 😊
For the Mount of money they didn't even get the correct boba or his cloth cape
@@enzomarra3764 it’s true, and very unfortunate

Fair! I just wish I could easily get the by skiff itself because I love the build so much I want 2 of them
I found it too expensive and then paid a kidney to get only the Nien Nunb for my UCS Falcon😅
Nice :) well I’m glad you have the complete crew!!
