星街すいせい (Hoshimachi Suisei) - Pieces Piano Cover

I gotta admit, I love Suisei's vocals so much. Her covers and originals both, are equally amazing.
This song, being a slower ballad like song, gave me more opportunity to practise my left hand melody. Although it's really simple, with a repeating right hand phrase, my LH melody tends to be really bad, and any form of lh melody arrangement would be nice to step up my game :^) It happens in the first verse at 0:26 and in the later chorus at 3:06. It really fits the light texture of the song and although not really in my style, i tried my best to accommodate the same feeling. As the song builds up, i added more rhythmic colour to the arrangement, hoping to give it that driving force the original had. Matching the drum beat was really hard to do consistently so i opted for consistent semiquavers instead.
Anyways, i hope you guys enjoyed this cover of Suisei's Pieces ! Not exactly in my comfort zone but it's good to arrange stuff like these once in a while :D See you guys in the next video~
