- At the Cannes Yachting Festival, Axopar Boats CEO Jan-Erik Viitala showed us what the new Axopar 45 could do. Already, he says, "100 are sold." Hope you enjoy! Capt. Steve plans to test the boat after the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show in October.

a very capable boat with a lot of tech, I personally like the axopars
This remains still today right now a revolutionary boat hull design although the propulsion system hardly much in the way of anything new granted vastly improved.
I miss Captain Steve! He is MIA! Where is he?
@@jeffwalston8110 man, he’s very thorough, understand that he can get on your nerves though, lol
He's back! This summer he was taking a break but working as a Captain in Cape Cod. More tests coming soon!
i like it overall, but dont like the soft retractable roof. i wish it was glass.
A little odd, but very interesting
Seems like a hit but I don’t see features to dive and fish? Can this boat do that?
No. The people onboard need to step in for that.
I'd prefer if my boats didn't dive, call me old fashion.
Why would one buy a 45 feet boat with such small living space and confort ? I also thought it was rolling a lot and very fast rolling at low speed . It looks very cool, but it is utterly not practical .
LOL
I suggest you sea trial one. I am ordering the 37 and all I can say is it drives like nothing else. Truly an experience and a surprise at that having boated my whole life.
If, like most folks, you’re just going out for the day or a few hours, you don’t really need cabin space.
it's called a day boat, or weekend boat it's not a live aboard.
@@vorjayUse it as a day or weekend boat out here on the great lakes. We only get 6 months a year at most and then what you could comfortably cruise in weather wise would be far less. Its a sweet boat, the cabin space is fine. But it is no where near stable enough for a lot of waters.
So many beautiful boats until I see how ugly fuel effects and costs make the experience. $5.50 and 20lbs of co2 emissions per gallon for every mile.
leisure boats aren't killing the planet or contributing a significant impact on greenhouse/co'2 emissions. there is one massive container ship that creates more CO2 than all the leisure boats on planet earth combined.
it causes as much co2 as 50million automobiles combined. this is the problem with the "climate alarmists" way of fighting climate change that is misguided.
Greta thumberg is that u
@@tanishazoa138 I appreciate that you cared enough to comment!
@@morefreepress of course man, no problem. When I see people crying about emissions bs global warming, it's my duty to point out the bs. Get off your phone. That contributes to global warming. Ah but wait since you can afford a phone it's not a big deal. But since you can't afford the boat it's bad. Haha typical leftist logic.
@@tanishazoa138 I'm just encouraging a reply for the algorithm. Your response is irrelevant. So thanks again!
Put in a SeaKeeper. I’d be puking.
funny you say this, Im talking with a dealer right now and asked about this and they said axopar strongly disagrees. im on your plan. they're needed
