What are Intentional Fallacy and Affective Fallacy? Both of these terms are introduced by W.K. Wimsatt, Jr., and Monroe C. Beardsley in a work titled The Verbal Icon (1954). The intentional fallacy is something when you are trying to find the intention of the poet. On the other hand, Affective Fallacy is something that you critic a work based on its effect on you.
