Mozart was the man. He wasn't trying to duplicate Bach although I believe he could have. He studied Bach but was making a new kind of music. Bach couldn't do everything mozart wrote that's for sure.
Fabulous music ! And not at all out of reach of decent non-professional musicians ! As an amateur viola player I hugely enjoyed playing it with my chamber music buddies !
This is String Quintet No.4 in G minor (K516, 1787). String Quintet No.3 is in C (K 515, 1787).
