WW2 GERMAN CROSS OF HONOUR OF THE GERMAN MOTHER MEDAL,GOLD,SILVER,BRONZE CLASS, TYPE 1,TYPE 2 ISSUES

type 1 issued only in 1939,replaced by type 2 issued late 1939 to 1944,the term gold,silver,bronze refers to the class of the medal and not the precious metal content as they are plated medals.

None of the medals are maker marked,around 9 different makers were involved in manufacture,miniatures of all three classes exist

There is over 100 different makers …Just some info…. the first three models ( the old model) are Original cross, but with a fake on the back… The tree new models you have are all fakes ( god Mede fakes) and by the way, the second model was introduced in 38 not 39 as you say in the video ….just some info…if you want to learn more about these join our group at WEME ww2 Mutter Kreuz

Ha,true....they were awarded by request and upon the government checking both parents were aryan blood with no convictions,awarded each mothering Sunday.
