You western people. Please understand, its a totally different view of women rights and how a family structure is built up. Its a mix of culture, religion and honor. But its also well known. It really is. We are a mix in every country now, and its for many a normal way of seeing life. You are to do as the head of the family says. Often thats the elderly men in the family. But its nothing to do with status. Its practiced from the top to the bottom. King in Saudi locking up his daughters for years, with males in the fam continuing after his dead. By the way its seen as normal the best way, with the best intentions. We do not see it that way, but in the western culture it was the same 150 to 200 years ago. How is it so difficult to see its going on? Well.. its politics and money into this. I hope This women in hide in UK get her justice. But.. is there anything called Justice anymore? Hm...

Everyone who knew or met Haya were impressed. All these new reports from bitter or humiliated connections to Sheikh Mohammed are just desperate attempts to reclaim the Sheikh's dignity.
