@@coltfrazier6563I personally love the way we play now rather than the way we used to play and it gives results. 1/4 years we won the Super Bowl with Tyreek Hill. 2/2 without Hill but with dominant physical defense and Pacheco. This style carries over to the playoffs in the AFC far better than the finnese passing game.

Ravens O line destroyed the Chiefs. They were averaging like 5 yards a carry lol. Then they stupidly went away from the run. Jim Harbaugh will not. He will run the ball 50 times if he has to and the Chiefs do not have the front 7 of the Steelers to stop it.
I think the chargers should hold Mack, Bosa, Herbert, JK Dobbins, Asante, Palmer, and McConkey out and let the rookies have a practice game. There's zero shot to win with the current injuries, so let's not injure key players in the process of losing.
Totally agree! That's exactly what I've been saying the last couple of days. Just count it as a preseason game, get a better feel for our depth pieces and rest all the starters for two weeks.

This is silly. These guys aren’t giving you the whole injury list for the Chargers. OT1, OT2 AND OT3 are out, Ogbonnia DT1 out along with Bosa, James on suspension, Joshua Palmer WR1 still hurt, Hayden Hurst TE1 injured, our KR/WR dinged.. it’s going to be ugly. 🫤
It's going to competitive folks. If this was Staley's team, Chargers would be toast, but it's Harbaugh. Don't underestimate the Bolts here, defense is healthy & I trust Harbaugh to have em prepared for a battle 👍⚡⚡

As a chargers fan I will be pissed if they put him out there. Have to look at the long term picture here. Lose 1 game by a blow out or lose a close game while getting your QB 1 hurt even worse. For me, it's just not worth it

Yes, as a Chiefs fan, we wanted to see both teams go at it with everyone present! I don't like seeing QB1 Justin Herbert injured with a high ankle sprain. As a competitor, I know that he will want to play. However, Mahomes had a high ankle sprain during the playoffs. It's possible, but not good! They should rest him for this game.
@@davidwsmith316 Yeah I'm a chargers fan, but this was the game I was most excited about and now it's not only going to be ugly but not even competitive. Feel bad for people who bought tickets. This is why I wait to buy tickets until the week of with the chargers since they are always cursed with injuries.

Personally, I think the Chargers should rest all the first string players on both sides of the ball on Sunday and just see it as a preseason game to get a better feel on their depth. Why let the few remaining first string players possibly get hurt as well. Better to just phone it in as a loss, regroup, retool the team and give the first string players two weeks to rest since the bye is coming next week. Go into the bye 2-2.

If you are doing actual REAL film study, you will see that Mahomes has missed Kelce quite a few times in the first three games. Kelce has been open often, and just hasn't had the ball thrown to him. If he got the target on those cases when he was open, you wouldn't be talking about "what's up with Kelce." Do actual film study before making declarative statements.

Chiefs have their own list of injured players. WR1 and RB1 both out... KC does know how to win ugly so I don't expect a pretty game from either team. Another Chiefs win sure does put them in the driver's seat to make it a crazy 9th consecutive AFC West title and a step closer to a #1 seed and first round bye.

We have zero chance realistically. Every facet of the game on both sides of the ball is affected. I keep saying this, but they’re not giving a clear picture of the Chargers injury situation here. It’s bad. (And the Chiefs fans saying “we’re injured too” are clueless.)

These GMFB guys are ignoring too many other injuries besides Herbert, Bosa, Alt and Slater. (And Chiefs fans claiming they’re dealing with comparable issues are just being clueless.) Example - take one unit, our defensive backfield. Not a peep about them. BUT - if it weren’t for Herbert etc, the lead story would be that we’ve got only one healthy starting CB, Asante Samuel - who frankly is a liability in the running game.
Both our other CB starters, JaSir Taylor (fibula) and Kristian Fulton (knee) are injured; along with Derwin James (who thankfully is just suspended) they’re the heart of our pass defense. Fulton has been our best all around DB. He and Taylor are physical, fast corners who, along with James (who’s just fair in pass coverage but hits like a truck) are key against the run too.
If it weren’t for all the other injuries this week’s talking points would be about whether the Chargers could cover KC’s receivers. Now, they don’t even get a mention.
Honestly, it might not matter. Mahomes could throw for 300+ but with the injuries to our defensive front seven it’s hard to see how LA can stop the run either.
Let’s not talk about the offense. And ffs sit Herbert.

The NFL is rigged (it's own admission) for close games through the draft and scheduling (yes, those are considered "rigging") as well as rules and officiating (again, NFL's own words) to give the best entertainment experience possible for spectators (NFL's own words).
Those who cry the refs bail out KC seem to ignore that the refs keep the other teams in games for the first 55 minutes. Andy dials it back to take pressure off the refs trying to keep the other teams within a score.

Ogbonnia is our best DT. He’s out. Pipkins is injured, which normally wouldn’t be a big deal but he’s our OT3. Colson is a starting LB, injured. Davis, injured. I’d love to swap injury reports with the Chiefs.
